Phone Model #

HELP!! I am needing to find what model number a phone is. I'm trying to do a phone book transfer for a customer, and none of the numbers on the back tag of the phone are helping us out.

It is a Motorola, big honkin' black bar style phone, no color screen, pull up antenna, says the model number is H2SUAH6RR5AN. If it helps any of you reps out there identify this the IMEI is 000102292827120

Any feedback is appreciated!

Question for anybody in Balto-Was. DC area

I used to have Nextel and switched to Cingular because I had a lot of dropped calls. Can anyone in the Balto-Was (mainly Balto.) area give some insight on how this hybrid service with ic502 phone compares to Nextel only service? Thanks.

Nextel Buyback Program??????

I am the manager at a new Sprint/Nextel store and I am not really familiar with Nextel policies. Do they by any chance have any sort of a buyback program for equipment like Sprint has? I have a customer that has 10 phones that he wants to get rid of and was wondering if there was any way to get some sort of reimbursement from them other than selling them on e-bay. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Joining Nextel or to Wait

My brother and I went into Nextel yesterday, played with the phones (The i580 is sweet) and checked out the plans. Again, wondering whether now is a good time to join or to wait until Nov with the release of the Hybrid phones, the i880 and newer plans?

Also my employer discount only gets me 15% off bill at Nextel and 23% off Sprint.

As for phones, my brother likes the i580, I was wondering about the i305 (candybar with camera), i605 (candybar with huge screen).

And I played with sprint phones, the Sayno 4930 is very nice (wish it had a camera) as is the Sayno 7500 and Samsung Blade.

What do you think?

TIme display when off network

If I turn off my Nextel i560 phone on an airplane, and turn it back on in a city where there is no coverage, the time is not displayed. Yet, the daily reminder I use for an alarm clock faithfully rings on cue (assuming I stayed in the same timezone). Does anyone know how to get the thing to display the correct time, which it definitely knows internally, even if it is turned on in an area with no service?

Thanks.

Will the i880 be the last new iDEN only unit from Motorola? What is your opinion of the new power source phones?

NEW name:

Well this for the fact that there more than one SPRINT and more than one NEXTEL (Nextel Partners and Sprint Together with Nextel) Onw solution is to combine both names and services to one name/company to reduce the confusion of where to call which market to go to. I think that this new name should be SPRINTEL. what do others think about this?

Sprint .....losing 300,000 monthly subscribers

😈 http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/tele com/2007-01-08-sprint_x.htm 😈

Seems the Exodus is in the Nextel base ! I really believe Sprint is "quietly" expunging Nextel for new Sprint accounts.

Considering that all I had to do was "port over" and Sprint gave me a new V3M just like I was a brand new walk in !

The service performance on Nextel is really getting worse in my area. I have no idea what makes it that way. My new Sprint service is a solid 4 to 5 bars and clear as can be.

I avoided the early out fee and am happy with new service. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ 😁

JD Power Award, Customer Care 2007 (Vol. 1)

T-Mobile Ranks Highest in Wireless Customer Care Performance for a Fifth Consecutive Time

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif: 25 January 2007 β€” Customer service issues that are handled by a computer automated response system (ARS) on the telephone generate significantly lower customer care ratings when compared with issues handled by a live representative, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Wireless Customer Care Performance StudySMβ€”Volume 1 released today.

For a fifth consecutive reporting period, T-Mobile ranks highest among the five largest wireless service providers by creating a positive experience among customers who contact the carrier for service or assistance. With an index score of 107 points, T-Mobile performs well across ...

One Sprint Forum

I think it would be better to have only one Sprint forum for both Sprint and Nextel products. I think the discussions would be more interesting, too.

Porting Number to Hybrid Phone

If there are any Sprint/Nextel technicians here can you explain to me why it is so difficult to port my existing Verizon phone numbers to my hybrid phone, I was given a new phone number when I got my IC502 on Dec. 29, at that time I told them I would be porting my numbers within 2 to 3 weeks and they said that it would not be a problem, so I called Sprint/Nextel 2 days ago to try to port the numbers and they said they are not sure they will be able to port the numbers, they said their system shows the numbers are available, but because it is a hybrid phone there is some kind of complication and it could take up to 2 weeks for them to port the number if they are able to. that to me doesn't make any sense, what difference does it make as to wh...

Nextel Text Messaging

I'm starting this thread to set the record straight once and for all on Nextel text messaging. I've read with interest in other forums complaints by individuals who've experienced problems with Nextel two-way messaging. First, while you may personally have had problems with Nextel text messaging, so do other people who have other carriers. This fact is verified by the FCC as well as other cell phone forums you'll find on the web. The reason Nextel has a bad rep in this area is because about two years ago or maybe less, they did for about a week to two weeks have problems nationwide with their messaging system. This was in part because they were in the process of making changes and modifications to the system and sometimes when companies do t...
