Battery replacement on ic502 but during 30 day period

I am having issues with my ic502 battery. My phone shows that it is still charging after 17 hours (1 bar left).

I am still within the 30 day trial period.

Should I return the phone? I don't want to exchange the battery and then have issues like I did before.

Therefore, ask for a battery exchange or return the phone (still within the 30 day period) and I also have insurance as the other option but don't think it's necessary since I'm still within the 30 day period and original warranty.

I had to share this with somebody,

(long rant) I’ve been looking forward to the release of the ic902, so when I went to a local mall earlier this evening I stopped by a Sprint/Nextel kiosk to look around. The manager was counting money and the sales person was just sitting there chewing gum. After I physically examined the complete selection of phones on my own and started to leave the manager asked me if I had any questions. At that point the sales person jumped up and came over to us. I asked if they had the hybrid phones available. The sales girl said “We don’t have ‘em. I asked “Do you have many hybrid customers and do they like the service?” She said “They like it.” I asked “OK, well then what service do your customers seem to like best out of Sprint, Nextel, and ...

Power Source (SIM)

I recently received an email on re-using a SIM card on a old Power Source phone to a new Power Source phone. Yes you can, it's not like iDEN phones, where you can swap a SIM card and put the new phone, and the phone starts working.
In order for you to use the same SIM, you need an iDEN phone to do a master re-set, then you may be able to use your SIM.

Once again, this is for people that may not know, I know there's alot of you that do know this process.

Nextel just lost a customer

I upgraded to the ic 502 but was sent an ic 402. I spent Saturday trying to get the correct phone sent out to me (ic 502) but no one would assist me). They told me only the person whom originally ordered the phone could fix the problem.

Monday, I spoke with someone who assured me that he could help. He ordered the ic 502 for me, told me it would be overnighted to me and would have it sometime Tuesday and stated that the original agreement would be kept.

Tuesday, I called to get a tracking number but they stated that order was still pending.

I was being charged full price for the ic 502 (per customer service notes) and this caused my phone to be suspended.

Called in repeatedly, spoke with supervisor who told me that the balance...

Need options regarding renewing Contract

My contract will be next month and I'm weighing Going to Sprint (more coverage but less minutes vs current Nextel plan (1000 mins $39.99), staying with Nextel (paying more for phone v Sprint but better plan but less coverage) or cancelling and going with a different provider. The other provider gives me a better phone vs Nextel upgrading, a plan with less minutes but more than Sprint for the price.

Can't seem to get a better deal on upgrading with Nextel.

Any suggestions on how to stay with Nextel, upgrade with a 2 year contract but maybe get a better deal on a phone (any retention advice?)? I'd like to get the Nextel ic902. (does it come with a memory card?)

ic908 picture issues

There is a bad batch of Moto ic902's that don't allow you to view your pictures. Once taking a picture, and you try and view the picture, the phone will freeze.
This is a known issue. It's a software issue that can be corrected at a corp retail store, that have techs.
Please call in advance to see your local corp office has techs and the software.

Verizon INCOMING calls to Nextel: Frequently dead air on first answering

You know how sometimes you receive an incoming call, even with full signal on your Nextel phone, and you answer it and the Nextel display says “connected”, yet you can not hear the party calling and the calling party can not hear you? So you hang up, they call you right back, and then you can both hear each other and it’s a normal call and everything’s fine. I have noticed that it only happens with incoming calls from Verizon Wireless phones.

I know which service all of my family and most of my friends & acquaintances use, and they are all in my Contacts list, so I know if they are calling me from their Verizon Wireless phone or from a landline. If the mystery problem occurs with someone who is not in my contact list, when they call back...

Calendar and Outlook

Does anyone know if the calendar can sync with Microsoft outlook? I heard of Motorola phone tools which is supposed to sync up with it, but not sure if it will work on this phone. I just got this phone today and so far I like it better than the i880.

Text Message Loggin... can it be done?

Can or does Sprint offer the option to have a log of all your text messages on your bill? I have a friend that is going thru some "personal" issues at home. Well her husband insists that he can see a log of all of her text messages when he gets the bill. Shes not doing anything, she just wants to know if he is flat out lying to her.

Now when she told me this the first thing that popped into my head was that it seems like an invasion of privacy if Sprint does or offers this service to its customers. Am I correct? So can someone please verify or fully deny if this is possible? Thanks in advance!!
