Well i just purchased a v600 from ebay for a pretty good deal. The guy said its not unlocked but he can do it for another $30. Now my question is if the phone is quad band would I even need to unlock and it was originally from at&t wouldnt that also mean that i dont need it unlocked since cingular and at&t have merged. Please correct me if im wrong id rather not spend another $30 on unlocking it if I dont need to.

well with my v600 soon to be arriving i have picked myself up a free bluetooth usb for my laptop or desktop but what software do i use to get pictures and put ringtones and games and stuff on it. I found one on motorola.com but it cost $30.

I moved to Idaho. I can't find a Cingular store anywhere so I'll have to let my contract die. Funny thing is that Cingular runs adds in Idaho every day- but where are they?

I'm about to start up service with Cingular and I'm trying to decide between the Motorola v600 or the SE T616. I want something reliable with decent sound quality and I would prefer bluetooth. I'm leaning toward the v600 due to it's speaker phone capabilities. Battery life is another thing I'm looking to improve upon (I'm leaving Nextel and my i90c behind.) Any comments or recommendations are appreciated!

Ok...I had to post to see if anyone else using Cingular's aptly named POS.com ("point of sale" - yea right) has constant problems with it.

Every activation or Upgrade I do on the site seems to have atleast one error/quirk somewhere throughout the process, not to mention the times when it just kicks you back out and you have to log in again. as I write this, I've been waiting 5 minutes for the last page to finish loading (meanwhile we use DSL here that has no problems accessing any other sites). Page finished loading, yet it still tells me "page is loading...please wait." now that I've wasted that time going through the computer to activate the phone and now I have to call customer care and waiiiiiit with them so that I can still save t...

I just bought a new V600 and I want to transfer all my numbers from my old v60. I don't know how to load all my contacts on the SIM card. I tried swapping the SIM to the new v600 but no contacts were on the card. Can someone please help.

i thought it was gonna be released the 29th?. i called 611 and a rep says they dont even have it. they tried placing an order but it is not even on their order system. is it delayed?

Got the V400 not too long ago. It came with the #1 key programmed to dial the voicemail. Is there a way to edit the number it dials to add a pause and link my voicemail password to it so I don't have to punch in my password everytime I check voicemail?

I'm so frustrated with SE T226 phone that I've decided just to buy a new phone even though I'm not eligible for any discounts. I want to make sure I get the right phone, though. I was just reading the discussion on thread "Cingular Customer Care" and wanted to let everyone in on something. Per our new protocol (which everyone in customer service had to complete a 4 hour training class on by now), activation fees, late fees, upgrade fees, reconnect fees, early termination fees, and regulatory fees and taxes will not be credited. If you find a rep that does credit any of these fees that could face serious retribution, so if you call in to waive these fees you will probably just be wasting your time.

I am a customer care represenative for cingular. I would like to know any positive or negative experiences you have had with customer care. I don't care good bad or ugly. I wanna hear about it.
