Voicemail Question

Does anyone know if you can check your voicemail without using your cel phone? My previous carrier had a phone number you could call into even from a land line. I am not sure if Cingular has this feature. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

CINGULAR WALKIE TALKIE / PUSH TO TALK! SUMMER 2004!

I am still proud to announce that Cingular does have plans to launch the famous Nextel feature but now on Cingular! Motorola for sure will be in the lineup of phones to offer the service, others are still unknown to me! Most of the ability (hardware) is in place, we just needs the phones with the software that Cingular will be using to enable the Push to Talk feature. Pricing is still unknown but be sure as usual with Cingular it should be very competitive and most likely will have a special price to launch such a large feature to a already excellent company! I heard that the Push To Talk feature will rival Nextel and will be better than Verizon and the other vendors! Hopefully June/July will be the time for the new feature to be releas...

V600 question

Is it really worth getting? I thought cingular was going to get the V700 but I guess not since its not even a GSM phone. How long are the video clips? I was told not very long, I have only used one video phone and the one I used was with a sprint customer and he could video as long as his memory would allow? Can you send pic and video from phone to phone and phone to email?

Voice mail, while Roaming in Canada

I need to know if you get charged roaming for someone leaving a voice mail while you're in Canada (my friend did)

IF MY DISABLING VOICE MAIL WILL THAT BE A GOOD WAY AROUND IT,

or if anyone has another idea of what I could do

(here is my dilema, I am willing to pay roaming charges for important calls that I choose to answer, but for the ones that I ingore and go to voice mail, I dont think it would be fair for me to get charged roaming for that....)

V400 and $ in my pocket, or V600?

Really need some help in this - I'm going to make the switch to Cingular soon - and need to decide what phone to go with.

What real benefits are there with the v600 that the v400 doesn't have?

Also, I'm concerned about reception in my apartment - if I sign a contract with Cingular - is there anyway to back out right away or to test a phone out at my house and around my city? If not, the 2 year commitment to get the good rebaate with the V600 seems a little daunting.

Any answers to these concerns would be a big help - I know you guys in here have a lot more answers than me.

does anyone know how much the t637 will cost without a contract?

does anyone know how much the t637 will cost without a contract? I dunno whether to get the t637 or the v400? They both seem like great phones. Anyone have any suggestions? Any comments either positive or negative will be appreciated thanks in advance 🙂 😁

Just for your information

I notice a lot of the info here is a little behind the curve of some other Cingular boards... probably the best resource out there is over at howardforums... lot's of Cingular emp's and such, a lot more up to date info.

This is a direct link to those forums...

Just FYI if you weren't aware of HowardForums.
