lol, im noticing aws customer care outsources to other countries, im assuming when and if the wrinkles are ironed out, in the merger/buyout cingular will keep the tradition of keeping all call centers within the u.s and not outsourcing ?

The only non-50 state call center we have is in Puerto Rico. Other than that, they are all Continential US based.

attws has some reps in canada, and last year started farming out work to india (and was suppose to farm out even more work to india, don't know now with the buyout).
also when attws bought telecorp, they inherited reps from puerto rico for that market (ok, so puerto rico is line 50% u.s.a., 😁 )

Acutally the only reason why att has reps in canada is because they pay a outsource company called StarTek to take calls for them. startek is the one that placed them in Canada. There are two sites in canada with att. And T-mobile also pays startek to take calls and StarTek placed one in canada for them as well. The compines do not have much say where startek makes the calls go to. They only get a say on how well they are doing or not.
