Saw a commercial for it yesterday, marketing for mother's day to add a line for 9.99 with free calling to other cingular customers

$9.99 only on the GSM plan. If you live west of Missouri it looks like GSM is a waste. As soon as you get off the freeway to get gas or go to the bathroom your phone will not work. What's wrong with that picture?
Is the GSM coverage ever going to equal that of the GAIT coverage area? I have to use the GAIT Nation plan because there is one part of Wisconsin that GSM does not cover, and we travel there several times a year. My second and third lines are costing me $20 a piece on the GAIT Nation Plan.

You're actually lucky to even have familytalk on the GAIT nation plan. That feature wasn't available until february of this year.

Isn't Cingular supposed to be finished with upgrading to GSM in all their current CDMA areas by this summer or fall? that should at least help expand into a good part where GAIT is now.
