Motorola RAZR V3c

The phone makes a buzzing noise in my ear, usually stops when phone call connects, but not always, sometimes it will go about 30 seconds or so into the coversation! very annoying, any fix for this or did i just get a lemon.

What's up everybody. Does anyone have a problem with the battery life on the phone? I charge it every night for at least 6.5 hours and then the battery gets to one bar in 5 hours and then it dies on me before I can get home to charge it again. Do I need to get the battery replaced or what? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks 😁

Anyone know of one coming out soon? I am returning this phone if it does not fix my problems! I was told by a Verizon Wireless manager I have 90 days from the day I activated my first RAZR. (I'm on my 3rd!) If not out by then, someone please suggest a good phone. Thanks!

I've got the RAZR from Verizon. Apparently, VZW has the UI color schemes locked down so you cant change it to blue, business or tropical. Has anyone found a way to unlock them without actually having to flash to the altell firmware?

I've done some "tweaking" on other stuff with P2K, PST, MPT etc. I've seen that the color scheme files are in the phone, just not accesable.

I am trying to email a MP3 file to my V3c but the email does not get to the phone. Is this because the MP3 file size is to large? Anyone know how to send an MP3 to my Razr without having to use a data cable or paying 2.99 to download one from vcast?

DO NOT USE *228. They have found a way to mess with the programing. I have the orignal V710 named in the suit. Everything on MFT worked until I recently did a *228, now I have to use the transflash card for pictures and ringers. The v3c I also have is the .03 software soon to get cracked. And verizon wants to do cable TV too?

Hello everyone .. I had a concern ... I have tried to send ringtones to my phone through my e-mail and it worked fine untill recentley it said message coming in and then gave me the error "National access coverage not available" .. Also I have press *228 and then pressed 1 to program my phone it loads and the robot on the line says "your phone has been successfull programed" but after she says that i look at my phone it says "Activation Failed"

Ok so i heard the new .03 software came out for the razr for verizon. What is this OBEX thing everyone is talking about? And also, does the new software fix the lag when going into the phones menu?

i know u r out there somewhere... i posted the pix msg thread about puting alltel software in my v3c razr... i know there is a way to make my phone send pix msg but i cant figure out which setting to tweek... ive been at it for a week now and im goin crazy... my phone works great when making or receiving calls... i just cant use get it now, mobile web, and pix msg... i can care less about mobile web and get it now... but i need my pix msg... please please please if your out there i need ur help!! I have my display timeout set for one minute. How do I get the display back when I am in the middle of a call, or if I am updating my phone book, and the display goes off. Which button can I press that will simply reactivate the screen?

I noticed someone placed a review for this phone and said they replaced the Verizon UI with ALLTEL'S software. How about you share with us how you did this? Thanks

I am considering switching providers from T-Mobile to Verizon due to a couple of issues. I like T-Mobile but my company uses Verizon and it would be simpler if I used their same plan. However, I currently have a Nokia 6600 which - I must say - is a kick butt phone. It has more features than just about any phone I can find including:

Infra Red
Bluetooth
Calendar sync with Outlook (IR and BT)
Addressbook sync with Outlook (IR and BT)
Symbian O/S with a ton of apps
Speakerphone
Camera
MMC expandable memory
Tether to PC via BT or IR for Internet useage

Ok so now I'm spoiled because there simply is no phone currently out there that does all this. The Infra Red is one of the key differences because I find IR a lot easier to interf...

I recorded a ringtone today and I set as my ringtone and it isn't loud enough. I tried putting the volume at the very top and it didn't improve it enough. Any other way to make it louder? Thanks

I was wondering if you could increase the video capture time to a unlimited? I have it as 15 seconds and it's not long enough. Thanks

You can find them on ebay, but Id like to see it in person at a store.

I just purchased a Verizon V3c that is suppossed to have Video Capture (cam), but i can't find it. I found the video button and the "Rec" button but all it does is record my voice or other noise for 5 seconds, but doesn't do a video clip. What am I not doing?
Also does the voice recorder supposed to have a play back function?

First question: Is it normal that the screen goes blank after about 1 minute into the ohine call. When I am done with a call, I like to see how long the call was before I close the phone, but with my phone, the screen goes black, and I have to press the right hand key on the side in order to have the screen come on again. I sthis how it is supposed to be?
Second question: Why did Verizon disable the ability to have the phone vibrate and ring at the same time. What is the logic behind this?
Third Question: Is there a way to change the 5 way navigation keys to navigate where I want them to navigate?

I need to pick someones brain... i have a v3c for verizon and i put alltel software in it bc i prefer moto's UI... but now i cant send or receive pix msg... i have the pst so i tried to change the mms data file but it says that the phone is not supported... does anyone know what to do? it sounds easier then it is... fyi... the phone works great with alltel software in it except for the pix msg and get it now... thanks!!
