Motorola RAZR V3

Just want to share it with you. I purchase a mobile phone management tool from one of the COMPUSA stores, the package looks great (just like one of Sony's software package), and the price is reasonable (compare to other similar products in the market). The package includes 1 data cable and 1 software CD, the software really surprises me! It can turn my Razr to MP3 ringtone (any ringtone I like!), and the software includes more than hundreds pictures and ringtone!
Just want to let you know that I like this small tool very much. If you are a Razr lover, you really do not want to miss this nice product!

I can't resume an SMS chat without them sending me another message.

I checked the pdf manual

the manual said to go into "Office Tools" and select "chat"

there is no such heading in the "Office Tools" menu

wtf?

T-mobile raze has the AIM hotkey to instant message right on the homepage. I use Yahoo instant message. Is there a way to swap it to yahoo? Why does it seem to be locked on that hotkey. It's like a waste of a function button if you don't use AIM.
any ideas?

I can tell all you ladies out there (and their boyfriends) that Cingular intends to launch the Pink RAZR in time for Valentine's Day, this year....

On my verizon razor i can just send a ringtone through funformobile.com. I couldn't get this to work on tmobile razor? Can you send ringtones through text to the phone or anything like that. I really don't want to invest in bluetooth adaptors and all that jazz, just wanted to send a couple of ringers to it.

I am looking for a pretty basic ringtone that I've heard in different television shows/movies coming from the V3 (and other older models). Mine doesnt have anything this basic and I really want it because it's tolerable, not too high pitched, and professional sounding.

I heard it again last night on The OC and it reminded me.

Can anyone tell me where i can get this? Trying to search google for ringtones and getting something that's not in the current top 40 list is near impossible.

hey yall.. I just downloaded the opera-mini program on my razr.. haha.. now not quite sure how to use it.. I have the razr through tmobile and was sorely dissapointed with the amount of sites i can actually visit through the "web"--yeah right.. Someone told me about opera-mini program and so I went.. now not quite sure hot to run it.. attempted to go back to the web from my phone but nothing has changed.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!! 🙂

this program worked gine with my GSM v3 from cingular, but now that I have a CDMA v3 from alltel, it wont recognize the phone. i checked the 'manually install' panel, and it lists a gsm driver, but not a cdma driver. any hints? i tried running it as generic cdma, but i cant edit my ringtones or contact book.

Anytime i try to use my phone, i keep getting a Recording Voice Record message that comes up.

I can't access anything on my phone. Any button i push brings up this message.

I can receive phone calls just fine, but i am not able to make any calls because of this.

Anyone else ever encountered this issue?

I have already made a call to Cingular, and they are sending a new phone, but i just wanted to see if there is a fix to this.

I have removed the battery and sim card, and put them back in. Still getting the same result.

I was gifted a used RAZR, but it has a ton of contacts and calendar events already on there that was synched with the person's Outlook.

I was wondering how I can remove all the contacts and events stored in the phone, but keep all my contacts that are stored on the SIM card. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey, i have the black moto razr, and i was wondering if i can upgrade it to the V3i when i comes out? does anyone know if thats possible or is it just a new model where you cant upgrade...

Anybody happy with their external antenna setup for a V3? Car Mount? Care to share brand/model #s (if you have it)?

mobile phone tools updated last night , from 3.11 to 3.19 then to 3.19e seems a little better. also love my OEM v3 case i got last month on ebay.

Just wondering on a few things with my moto V3.

How can i records sounds using my phone? is it
possible?
e.g. recording music off the radio or watever...

Also is it possible to record my calls? like some other phones can.

Is it just me or have others noticed that the missed call notification on the external display only "displays" for a minute or two then is replaced by the time. In other words, you cannot tell just by looking at the external display if there are missed calls.

My other Moto phones all had the notification remain displayed until you opened the phone.

Is this something that can be set ? I cannot find such a setting .

It rings perfectly when not plugged in, but as soon as I plug it in, it goes silent, even though the setting says "loud". Any thoughts?

ive had my verizon razr for about 2 weeks now and i left it in the charger for about 3 hours and when i came back the phone was very hot and would NOT TURN ON!!! please help!!

Can I get a show of hands of people who have this phone and their external LCD cracked with no good reason. (Dropped phones does not crack, please be honest)

I've had this phone for 10 days, it is in the leather case that came with it 90% of the time because I got a bluetooth headset with it. Only time I took it out was to take a picture and transfer ringtones through the bluetooth.

Last thing I did was take a picture, screen is still fine, put it in the leather case, got into my car, I'm in Canada so the weather is cold, I have layers of clothing cover this leather case as well, drove home took my phone out to setup my alarm for work and the screen started to flicker with lines than I notice a small crack from the bottom left corner t...

Hi I recently purchased a new black unlocked V3 off Ebay from a person who bought it from Cingular. He had it for two days and decided to go back to his Nokia. So he sold it to me but when I put my SIM card in only Cingular menus came up and my internet service would not pull. Is there any remedy for this? I mean how can I get the FLASH T-Mobile menu? If not can you buy a Factory unlocked version in black that will sync with T-Mobile's info?
