Motorola RAZR V3

I just came back to Cingular (left Verizon) and have been using the SE z520a for about a week. I am 50/50 if I will keep it. I wanted to get some feedback regarding what you think the best phone is out of these 3 Cingular branded phones: SE z520a, Moto Razr V3 (black), Samsung D357. I am still in my 30 days exchange window.

My phones in the past have been Nokia, SE, then Samsung. I really want a small Nokia slider but my 30 day window ends this month. I mainly am concerned with battery, reception/clarity, ease of use, durability, voice dialing (for driving), easily fits in pocket, and looking forward to trying bluetooth. Lastly, I am in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I use calling cards alot when making internation calls. I just got my new RAZR yesterday. When I add p or w in the number (by pressing *) and try to save it, it does not remember the p's and w's. In my old nokia, I used to be able to store the number as follows:

800-123-4567w12345678w011987654321

so after the 800 number was dialed, i would have to press send to send the next number which is the card pin number, after that i would have to press send to send the international number. I really hop that this feature is supported by the phone.

What all can you do with this supposed SyncML on the Razor???

I am looking for a phone that can sync my address book and calender from Outlook

well i know the s710a isnt the newest phone out but it seems like a good phone which phone should i get the razr or the s710a any oppions will help

The only problem I have with this phone is the earpiece volume... you just can't hear all that well!
So, I know other phones have hacks you can do to make the volume louder than the max... Does anyone know of a way to do this on the Razr?

So I just got a black RAZR today and I have been setting it up, but I cannot figure out how to set the numbers 2-9 for speed dial. I have been reading the manual but nothing I try works lol. So how do I set it up? thanks much!

hey guys, i have a problem.
my motorola razr BLK has only 1 language: English.
I don't have a problem with that except cause when i want to send an sms i have to send it in english or to tap the letters. bye the way in my country we speak spanish.
my question is? is there like a patch or something to add the spanish language to the phone.

After three long years of diehard service with my V60, I finally laid to rest it's battered little case and scratched screen. Too much technology had passed us by and it was time for a something new.
So I thought, hey - I'll go all the way, and get a smartphone! I bought a BlackBerry 7105t yesterday, and returned it today. Where do I go for free hi-fi ring tones? I've gone to 3gforfree but only Sprint users can download hi-fi ringers. And the poly ringers aren't any good. Any free downloads would be great! Thanks!

I work for a company that is a T-Mobile contractor, and am looking to get a new phone. Right now I have a Samsung v206, but I've been thinking of upgrading for awhile. My mom asked me the other day what the cheapest deal on a cell phone was, so I'm thinking I'll get a new phone and give the old one to her on a new line of service. Here are my top choices.

Neccassary features:

1.) Clamshell phones only. I don't want a bar phone or a slider that has to be held in a case or will get the screen all scratched up.
2.) Some kind of internet access.

I have a Cingular Razr that did not come with any software to install on a pc which would allow me to download photos taken from my phone...I do have the appropriate cable, however.

What do I need to do in order to transfer pics from my phone to my PC?

I have spent the last 3 days working with Cingualr to get access to my voicemail. It seems to come down to not having the + sign in front of the phone number listed in the voicemail setup option on the menu. I cannot find anything from Motorola or CIngular on how to insert a +, but the lady from Cingualr told to hit the 1 key a couple times. All that gets me is more ones. Is there a way to insert a + symbol? AM I missing a secret shift key or something.

I just received my V3, great product !! The software it comes with does not give the option of using Outlook as one of the programs to sync with ? The disc reads Moblite , PhoneTools Lite version 3.11d.

I saw that this phone possibly has email client capabilities. Does anyone know or use this with Lotus Notes? I have to use notes for work and would like to find a phone that I can use with this piece of crap software.

I was just wondering if anyone would be able to offer me any advice. I bought the black RAZR from Cingular in July. It has been great and I have had no problems with it.

Until today that is. I took the phone out of my pocket and the outer display is just a back lit blank screen, no image, time, anything. I was just wondering if this would be covered by Moto's warranty. Or maybe if it could be repaired, and is so, do I just take it to my local Cingular store.

Any help would be really appreciated!

What Bluetooth profiles are supported by the V3?
Is the V3 loaded with Bluetooth 1.2?

I had the black one for less then 24 hours and took it back in favor of a SE520a

The phone is all flash and no substance. what kind of expensive executive type phone like this cannot be used as a contact manager? NO addresses or notes allowed? Please Even the SE520a can be used as a contact manager. MPT3 is a joke and extremily buggy. I feel bad for those who bought this phone for $500 when it was first released.
The Moto SW is terrible

I have and love my MPX220. IT blows away the V3 in evry category includng picture quality.I like the SE520a as well
