I was just wondering if it was possible to get the TEXT MESSEGES assigned sound for ALL my text messages and NOT get Personal Rings for assigned people when they Text Message me. I've looked everywhere on the phone and can't find an option that will satisfy my needs.

Example:
WHAT HAPPENS NOW:
Bill's Personal Ring = Music01.mp3
Bill's Text Message to ME = Music01.mp3

WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN:
Bill's Personal Ring = Music01.mp3
Bill's Text Message to Me = MsgSound.mp3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a little info/help for a friend.

A buddy has a Razr with Cingular service. Today I tried to send a picture to him from my Verizon phone. He could not receive the attachment. Is there any way to make this work?

Next question; is there a data cable for the Razr so he can get pictures off the phone and onto his computer? Would I be able to find one on Ebay?

Just switched over from VWZ a few days ago to the Black Razr. So far, extremely satisfied with the phone and it's features. Only problem I'm having is receiving SMS messages from VWZ numbers. I can receive MMS messages and SMS from Cingular and I can send both with no problems to either carrier, but have not been able to receive any SMS messages from VWZ numbers.

Has anybody else who've switched from Verizon had the same problems? If so, would like to know how to fix the problem. Thanks.

I'm almost finished reading the manual that came with my T-Mobile RAZR phone, and it's pathetic. So far I haven't learned much that I didn't already figure out in a few minutes of playing around with the phone, and there's a whole lot more that I want to learn.

Surely there's a more detailed manual out there somewhere. Has anybody found it?

What is the difference between Locked vs Unlocked? I dont know what any of that means, and I wanted to buy a RAZR and all i keep seeing is locked and unlocked ones. 🙄

Another question...I started my new plan(cingular) a little less than a year ago, and I already dont like my phone and I wanted to switch to a razr, but they wont let you do that right?

Last nite I flipped open my phone to answer a call and the right hinge fell out of the phone ! Now each time the phone is open it just falls out ! HELP ! Has anyone come across this problem ? How do I fix it ? I thought of glue but I don't want to glue it shut, where it wont swing open. I LOVE this phone, does ANYONE have any suggestions ?? 😳 PLEASE let me know if anyone has come across this and fixed it successfully.... Thanks.

1a) I got an unable to capture from my phone when I try to take a pic. Has any one got that?

1b) some of the pics came out kinda crappy. Is it the lens or me moving the phone?

1c)After I got with recording a video I got a plane error message when I about to view to store on the RAZOR.

2)When I charge the phone in the car(IGO FROM radioshack!)when it was done charging It no later then 15 minutes it was half drained? Is it the battery or the charger??

I just got the phone yesterday and it came with a CD, but it only works on PC'S. Anybody know if I can get a CD for the Mac or can I download stuff off the web. All my Manuals are in German and Italian, so I not really sure what's on this CD??

I was hoping to have some software that I don't have to entry all my address info into the phone, hoping to Sny to my laptop (which is Bluetooth)
Also looking for the software where I can create and upload my own ring-tones.

1st) i got the pink razor from T-moblie and it doesnt have the Video recorder on it. do i have to goto t-moblie for the update or motorola 4 it? Or can i do it myself?


2nd) my gf got the razor 4 cingular she get full service in her house and i get only 2 bars max. full bars if am lucky. does it have to do with software update or the GSM? and how do i get full bars in her house. do i have to unlock it?

I noticed on my unlocked Razr v3 I have the option to use 2 lines/numbers. Has anyone figured out how to do this considering the phone can only use 1 sim card? This would be tremendous if possible!

I just received my Razr V3c and have set it up through Verizon. I have one problem though, I cannot seem to figure out how to make the battery life indicator show up on the screen. Is there a way to get this indicator to show? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but for the life of me, I can't get it to display.

I recently purchased a Razr from ebay, Everything works fine except when I attempt to connect to a bluetooth headset. It asks for a Bluetooth passkey and I do not know the one for this phone. How can I reset this passkey.

Does the V3 have an external antenna port??

Is this phone really delicate like people say? Is this phone delicate like the v551?
