Greetings!! Can somebody help me with this new phone I've bought.
I'm currently based in beijing but from indonesia. I bought the razr v3 and have started to use for only half a day with my chinese sim card. all of the sudden, the screen showed "INSERT SIM" and i have tried many times to re-do it but it won't start and dissappear.
I use my sim card on my other mobile phone. it works fine...
does anyone know what's going on?

The phone is locked you'll have to go to search a few sites for a unlock code that will work with it. The codes usually cost between $50 to $75 us dollars. American phones are locked to specific carriers so you'll need to find out if it is a cingular phone or a t- mobile phone.
