LG VX-8000

Someone told me that there is a recall on the 8000 because of a crooked lens. That would push back the release date a couple of months to like may. Please be patient. 😢 😢 😈 😎

What exactly is streaming multimedia? Would that allow me to view the Iowa Hawkeyes football games, the Chicago Bears, and live webcasts of all my girlfriends?

This phone won't be out until mid January at the earliest. The consumer trial for this phone and the media service over EVDO is just about to get under way and will last approximately 2 mos. It's going to take place in D.C. and California. The full launch of the VZW EVDO won't be until mid january (if everything happens according to current timelines). I highly doubt that this phone will be launched much before, if earlier at all, than the service it was created to use is fully launched. For anyone on this thread that works at VZW type in "lg vx8000" in the search bar on top of the VZWEB home page and check out some of the links from Jan 9 - Jan 11. Some fun reading if you havn't already seen it!

Another recall due to defected "stereo" speakerphone. Info obtained from my neighbor who is Vice-President of Verizon Wireless in U.S.A. The phone has been postponed until the Independence Day holiday in 2005. It will be released by then as a National Gift for VZW "satisfied" customers nation-wide.

"The VX8000 is coming out on the 15th of November." He talked to the head hauncho of Verizon on the Eastern Seaboard and they told him that it is next month!

Does anyone know if the lg 8000 has the ability to both vibrate and ring at the same time as the lg 6000 does?

I took some new photos of the 8000 today and my friend that is a tester, whispered to me today that the phone was going to release next week. He said he just talked to whomever gave him the phone and it would be out next week. I am kinda skeptical since nothing is on infomanager and they have dates for the Harrier already. Good news! the 8000 has recently been seen on e-bay! there were multiple picture taken of it, that were not profesional, which shows it was realylt he phone, it had verizon printed on the front of the phone, so im guessing that verizon employees have been useing and testing this phone for release! and if they have had it long enough to be able to sell, it must be close!! let me know if u find any other phone on e-bay or any other place! waiting for release date! thanks!

i just wanna verify that this phone IS a video phone right? i know it can play video clips n such. but can it take videos as well? the phonescoop website says that its just a megapixel camera with flash. and if it can, how many pictures and videos can it hold?

For everybody wondering about the release date on the VX8000, I can find out for you all. I know a family friend that works for verizon, he is the #2 salesman in the us apparently. I think he could tell me when it is coming out if I ask him nice enough. I really don't think he would lie about this stuff 2 me bc he helped me stay away from a really crappy phone b4. I can find out and then let everybody know what he says as soon as I find out. Hope to hear from him soon.

Stop posting bull*hit about VX8000 being available on eBay! 👿 I enetered 'lg vx8000' in the search bar, and it yielded no results except for VX8000 holsters and chargers! 👿
If you don't quit it, you won't see the phone until Christmas, 2097. 🤣
