LG VX-8000

I was just at my local Verizon store and I was talking tothe Tech. He said the 8000 in still in testing and so far so good, and It should be out soon, It's been in testing now for almost 6 weeks he said!!!

Does anyone know? Thanks.

Ive noticed that the battery life of phones isnt always what it is said to be hows the life on this phone????

I was just browsing the vzw website when i saw some deals for phones...then i noticed that they lowerd the price of the lg vx7000 down to 99$...this means they are trying to get rid of this phone for the arrival of the new lg vx8000.....

verizon wireless is letting 500 customers have the lg vx8000 for FREE. and im ONE of them. the only catch is you have to pay for mobile media. $15/month for a month and a half.

for each individual vzw customer that gets it, theres a special number to call. i got my thing in the mail. its sooo amazing!! the lil cards telling you all the details about the lg vx8000 and offer. once you call that number, a representative gives you the details over again and makes sure everything is covered. and then you confirm a couple things. and then YESS IM GETTING THE LG VX8000 IN 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS!!! (I live in columbia,maryland-dc area) and im sooo happpy!! i just wanna make sure that everyone has a spectacular thanksgiving and pray to Allah/God/Jesus...

You know my life just keeps on getting worse and worse. I live in the albany,new york area. First of all my true passion can never be full filled where i live(street racing/drifing). I got a nissan 240sx with a sr20det in it and a few other mods...im getting a conversion kit soon. Neways, now this free promotion comes out in areas that im not in....this isnt the only account of things that nvr happen in my area. Versace must suffer this somewhat 2 cause he is in nyc, but i get it worse.....curses.....well at least ill get the phone for free neways for xmas....

Does anyone know from previous years if VZW will release new phones during their holiday network lock-down? If not, then in my opinion, there is zero chance this phone will be released before early January.

Someone keeps asking this question. Here you go:

1. Go to VZW website
2. Click on Site Map
3. Scroll down and look for Phone and Equipment Manuals
4. Choose phone brand

You will see then all LG phones (if that's what you're looking for), except for VX8000. 😲 I don't know why. ☹️
But that's how to get there. 😁

I couple of posts mentioned that the phone should come out in a couple weeks(user manual on Verizon site). However, to my knowledge dummy phones are not at the stores right now. Since dummy phones always come a couple weeks before the phone, this means that the phone should not be our for AT LEAST several weeks. Is this true?

I have noticed a lot of you have posted your email address to get information from someone. Placing your actual address on any forum can result in lots of spam heading your way.

Spammers use tools that prowl web sites and harvest email addresses.

It is best to disguise your address in a way obvious to human readers but enough to fool spiders (the harvesting tools).

Example: remove the obvious junk to email me at greggATmydomainNOSPAM.com. In that case, you'd place an @ instead of the AT in the address, then remove NOSPAM and send your mail.

Just like all of you, I have been actively checking this forum everyday hoping that the VX-8000 will come out soon. Recently, as my patience of the release of this phone have grown increasingly short, I decided that I should just call someone important to see when this phone would come out.

Earlier today, I called VZW customer support and asked if I could get any information about an upcoming phone I had heard about (VX-8000). They very nice service rep actually referred me to this site, but I claimed ignorance, and she was nice enough to give me the phone number for LG Phones.
