Nokia 6620

I'm in NC, and Cingular took this phone off their website, it's been on there since last Friday, but when I looked today, it wasn't there. I'm also an agent, and it's not on my order list yet. What's going on?

PC Suite contacts editor doesn't work with the 6620? Any else have this problem? Any solutions?

Nokia says a new version of 6620 software for Windows ME will be out in a month. In the meantime, I have no idea why the computer is not recognizing that I've hooked the 6620 up to the computer using the data cable. I can only put data onto the MMC card using my card reader - which stinks, since I have to remove the card from the phone to do that!

Anyone have any useful advice. I need some help, not jokes about my computer knowledge. This is an expensive phone, and I'd like to be able to use it to the fullest! I'm enjoying it, other than not being able to connect it to the computer.

My kids have the 3300, and they have no problem using the data cable to download MP3's to their phones.

has anyone looked at this phone on this site, it says the phone has an unlimited call log but when I played with it, it was the same as my Nokia 3620 up to 30 days???

I can't load the Nokia 6620 software onto my computer, becasue I have Windows ME - need 200 or XP. The Nokia rep said new software will be out in a month or so. Does anyone know if that's why the computer doesn't recognize the phone when I hook it up using the data cable? The driver for the cable is installed. I can't even load MP3's onto the phone! I guess I'll just have to get a card reader?

I work for a cell phone indirect carrier and our buyer will only stock us with the Jabra BT250 headset, which I have played with and I think sucks. I put the phone in my pocket on the opposite side of my body from the headset and I get static. Granted, I have a ton of lead in my body from years of eating paint 😕 ,but there should be some headset out there with good range. Anybody tried one they would highly recommend? Thanks.

Has anybody tried to sync using Bluetooth with the Nokia 6620?

I tried to follow the steps mentioned on the AT&T website but could establish a Bluetooth connection. At first, I thought that it may have been a problem with the phone but I tried it with another 6620 but no luck.

I have an IBM laptop (running XP) with built-in bluetooth. I can see the device in the 'Bluetooth places' but unable to connect using 'Dial up networking'. I suppose thats the way to do it..

Any ideas or suggestions ?

But I figured out the keyguard lock/unlock function, but is there an automatic keyguard function? One that locks the keys after a set period of time?

My old 6200 has this feature.

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows any ways to get on the internet on the phone like mMode for att, (GPRS) etc. but for free? I have heard of and tried Wap Tunnel but for some reason it doesnt seem to work. So I was wondering if any of you know another way to get online for free. Any help guys? Thanks

How do you lock the keys on the 6620? I was just playing with one at the store but couldn't figure it out. On my 6200 is is Menu, then *.

Can you use mp3 songs off the mp3 player as ringtones?? I was wondering because ATT doesn't suppore voice ringtones yet.

I went and asked one of the local Cingular stores when they would be getting either the 6620 or 6230 in... And he said, "that they would be getting the 66's in next week." He didn't say anything about the 6230, tho.

I am so excited... he said that I should reserve one now, because they are going fast. 🙂

What phones support true tones?

I have this phone and love it. Right now I'm using a Nite Ize holster that works okay, but not great. I got the genuine Nokia OEM case, but it sucks. It's designed for the 6600, not the 6620, so access to the pop-port and power plug are blocked, there's no protection for the camera lens and the plastic is used to protect the keys (?!) not the screen. It is just poorly designed and I would like a true case, not a holster, something like the Body Glove ones would be nice. Does anybody have any recommendations for a nice, well thought out case? Thanks!

My 3650 died from no memory and i didnt want to reset anything on it. so i waited till att had the 6620.
Mon. Aug 9 after checking for 3 weeks its here at ATT. picked it up and played with it by setting key tones, ringer, everything to loud. then i started to put voice commands in it. especially bluetooth, and by the way the voice commands s*ck it doesnt recognize most of my commands. then i noticed that every time i used voice commands the key tones are silent. then i am missing calls cause the ringer is silent too.
Returned it the following tue for a brand new one. The first thing i did was go to voice command and bluetoothed it. hit the right menu button for 2 sec and said "bluetooth" and after it failed, the key tones are s...

I'm now considering getting this phone over the v710 after reading the disappointing reviews. This phone has everything the v710 has except a megapixel camera. I was wondering if how the picture quality is and how the quality of the video is. I really don't think that the picture quality is going to matter to me that much, but if I'm paying for it I want it to work.
