PLEASE HELPPP with the security code

Hi everyone, I have a nokia 6600 (same as 6620 except different frequency) with T-mobile and when I go under security and setting its asking me for a lock code, I tried the default 12345 and it doesn't work!!! I also tried formatting the phone by pressing the *3talk power combo and once formatted, it still doesn't recognize 12345 as its code. So if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it...

Nokia 6620 Questions

I have a few questions.

Regarding the MMC Card, how can I put mp3s/images/ and videos from my computer to the card? I checked out the Nokia website and it has a reader for $19.95. Should I purchase that? I am thinking of buying a 1 GB card.

Also, will this phone work in the Philippines when I unlock it?

Need some info

Hi
I'm interested in buying N6620 and i need some info. Does this model has 44kHz stereo audio output (can i use mp3players/video players such as vikingmp3, ultramp3, oggplay, wmaplus, smartmovie and will they play in full 44kHz audio - not like in 6600 where was 16kHz mono output)? In pre-installed mp3/aac player: rewinding and fast-forward is available or not? Will the phone work (supporting 850/1800/1900) in poland? Does the phone support CSD data transfer if not is this possible to make it support that? Where can i get older firmware to support mp3 as ringtones, what version i need, maybe it's some other way (f.e. plugin in .DLL format)?
If u can give me some phone disadvantages.
Thanks in advance for all replies.
greet.

Questions on video playback...

I just bought my 6620 about 2 weeks ago, and I was just wondering why videos are not being recognized on my phone. I do the classic "drag-and-drop" via memory card reader like I did with my former Audiovox SMT5600. Pictures and Mp3's work well, I just have a problem with the videos. My sister also had a 6620 until she got the 6682 recently, and she said she had the same problem. Is it because of the Real Player, or possibly something else? Do I have to use it in a different format? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm just curious what you guys think could be the problem...any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

6620 Firmware update

I have a 6620 bought new unlocked ATTWS branded from ebay Phone seems to work ok, on cingular network except a problem which just suddenly cropped up with no speakerphone and no audible ring. I go poking around online and hear about firmware. I hit code *#0000# and My 6620 has
V 2.14.1
28-06-04
NHL-12

I glean from my poking around on the net that I am running what, the equivalent of windows 3.0??
My question...how do i upgrade the firmware? I have seen that options are to: take it to a cingular store, send it to nokia, do it myself with a data cable...
A knowledgeable answer would be welcome...
Thanks...

I believe I heard many moons ago that you have to download a program with it is that true?

Nokia 6620 vs. Audiovox SMT 5600

Hello everyone.

I'm not willing to spend for the Cingilar 2125 smart phone just yet...waiting until price drops. So I'm in the process of purchasing either a Nokia 6620 & an Audiovox SMT 5600. Pretty much at the same price.

I have read the reviews and discussions from this site, as well as others. And I just wanted to know what you guys honestly think about these 2 comparisons. Which is better? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 😁

Can someone please explain how the proxy works with this phone

To connect using an application on T-Mobile, weather it be Opera, MGmaps, Netfront or whatever, you can't get that application to talk on the Internet until you explicitely specify the proxy server address (216.155.165.50:8080) within that application. But in the configuration of the access point in the settings of the phone, you can put in the proxy server address. Why doesn't every application on the phone just try to use that proxy server specified in the phone settings? Some applications don't have an option to put in a proxy server address, so they are useless. Or is there a proxy client that you can download for Series 60/Symbian that will allow you to have any application to use a proxy? My phone is a Nokia 6620.

Any knowledge is a...
