Klausner Technologies has sued Citrix Systems, Comverse, Embarq Holdings, Google, LG, and Verizon Communications over visual voicemail patent infringement. Klausner successfully sued AT&T and Apple over the same patent and received a settlement from the two companies. LG and Verizon recently began offering visual voicemail on the Voyager. Klausner was granted the patent for visual voicemail on 1996.

So, has anyone else noticed that with the V09 Upgrade, they took away the option of zooming into your pictures?

Hey everyone - I'm having major trouble deciding between the voyager and the glyde. I heard that the glyde's touchscreen is actually really good if you turn the sensitivity down. I will be texting, a lot. I wont really by using the mobile tv and I'll only occasionally use the internet. BUT I hear that there is a V10 update coming out may be in September - if so will it only be for the voyager? and not available for say the glyde?

Also, I like to doodle with my phone when I'm bored and I know the glyde has a fun interactive background/wallpaper thing. Does the voyager have any random fun things on it?

Lastly, the size. I played with it in the store, and the size isn't all that bad right? I mean it would stay in my pocket - do any you ha...

This morning I tried to save a picture i had just taken to my phone and a couple of times, it said save failed. It took the picture fine but this is weird. Has anyone else experienced this problem at all? I hope this is not going to be a serious type of problem. Just wondering and thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hey is anyone else besides me noticing a problem with Mobile aim on our voyagers even after the newest firmeware update? if you stay logged in, and say for example you're on the phone, the phone will restart itself and even if you're not on the phone and doing something else such as texting every once in a while the phone will re start. I've noticed this a couple of times. I've also noticed that the phone only does this w/ mobile aim as well. Any other input is welcomed. I think there's a bug with mobile aim or that the phone just can't handle that or something. Thanks...

ok, so i had my gig card in my voyager max out with like 1700 songs and vids etc. and i always thouht i'd be able to hold like twice that ,, i took the card out after it being in there for like a month after i loaded it from my laptop just to view some pics on my 360. when i put it back in the phone it doubled all the songs!! and they bolth played too! wwhad i do wrong can i put new stuff on this card still?

After upgrade when I would take pic,most would not save to phone for sending,it would say failed. Then I noticed in darker areas when I would take pic it wouldnt lighten up on screen like it did before in auto,giving me a nice picture under lower light. Verizon thinks that when I took phone in first time to one store and it wouldn't work because the guy said it had a possible virus ,that is what might be causing problems with pictures so they are sending me a new one.I hope it doesn't come with the V09, I will wait and try the V10 when that comes out.

Ok so I finally went ahead and ordered my Voyager (yay!!!)

I had a couple of questions b/c I couldn't find them in the threads.

1. Can we use AIM, or MSN Messenger on the Voyager and if so does it cost extra and do you need the internet??

2. I have the new LG Chocolate phone, so will that memory card work on the Voyager since they are both LG brand??

I can't wait to get my Voyager b/c I've been dying for this phone!! lol

I want to move some pictures on my Voyager to my SD card but I'd still like the pictures to remain in my phone memory, is that possible without having to transfer them back from the SD card? From what I can tell once you move them to a card they're deleted from the phone memory.

Will the v10 or the silver version drive the price up. Or will it still stay at 99 dollars. I hope it stays the same Any input is greatly apprecaited. 😁

Got the upgrade on Saturday and thought everything good.Well today tried taking pictures and eight out of ten would say failed and not be recorded on phone. Then I noticed when I would use front screen to go to different things it would freeze and not do anything, not even clear out. Would have to hit end button to clear out. Have rebooted and taken battery out.

I finally got the upgrade after being told it didn't exist,went to stores that was supposed to have it and they didn't know what I was talking about. This was during the week when it did come out but not everyone at VZW knew about it. Got very frustrating. Well I went out yesterday on Saturday and went to store, they hooked it up and it took 20 minutes to give back to me saying I was all set, went home 5 miles in heavy traffic to find I still had V07 software. Called them and they were shocked, said bring it back. Another 10 miles round trip to find out 10 minutes into them plugging in phone that phone rejected it because the new software they got,the V09 had a virus in it. Screwed again. Just thought I would share this info. keep in mind it hasnt been confirmed by any news articles or anything but several people on different forums are saying v10 is coming in september with the official launch of the silver voyager and will be the final update for the voyager. Its rumored to give it ui identical to the dares ui including the drawing pad, improved touch screen, dragging and dropping icons to the voyagers homescreen, and multitasking music. Theyve said V09 is a minor update with graphical changes that was pushed out to support the launch of visual voicemail. theyve said this info has come from both lg and verizon reps that you can call and contact for yourself. so take it for what its worth just spreading the word and if anyb...

Would/Could this ever be a possibilty on the voyager through a firmware update or something? Just purely curious, I just recently purchased a voyager and while it is the best phone I have ever owned, this is the one thing I do not care for. I miss this from my curve.

You say you got the upgrade, well I cant seem to find anyone who knows anything about it.
Cust service is now saying wont be launched until sept. Another one said it was in my local store, went there and called others and they say it hasn't been released yet.
So why don't you get someone to take a pic of your phone with it on front screen and post a link to show us that you actually have it. I am tired of run around and no one knows anything about it.
