LG Voyager VX-10000

does anyone know if there's a base charging station with two batteries i saw it for the treo and can anyone list the stats on the extended battery like how long it last for?

When using the speaker phone mode and getting a strong signal and talking to a caller with a strong voice, my Voyager speakers have a decided crackle to them. No matter how low I set the volume, the crackle is still there. It's like the signal is too strong for the speakers. Is this characteristic of Voyager or might something be wrong with my unit?

I know I've seen some pictures of a voyager with a qwerty keyboard being accessed with the phone closed. How do I access that keyboard screen on mine to use for texting?

What is coming out in the next few months that could compete with the Voyager? Is there a new LG smartphone coming out? Verizon only.

The verizon website is now listing a titanium voyager, with the black voyager showing as out of stock. Same price for both. There is no direct comparison feature, but it doesn't appear to be any different from a black voyager with the v09 firmware update.

Hoping this got overlooked. Is there a way to save the text font to (large)?

I have a jabra headset (single ear) and can hear regular phone calls. Would like to know if there is a single ear headset that can play the vcast mobile tv audio through it. This is better if you're caught up waiting somewhere and would like to watch tv without blasting the speakers.

Ok, I have read thru numerous pages of threads (several hours worth), both here and on HowardForum.com, but I'm still stuck.

I have hundreds of custom made ringtones on my Micro-SD card from my old phone (Moto E815). On my new LG Voyager, under the -Get It Now- category, I can get them to show up in the -Sounds- category, but I cannot get them over to the phone to use as ringtones. WITHOUT using Bitpim (haven't used it before, and looking for easier way), there has to be a way to do this. For the time being, I only have a Txt/Pix mssg plan on my phone, with no Internet plan (I know, I know ---crazy for not having one with this phone, but watching costs for now). So looking for a solution that might only involve texting, or some easy "...

Has anyone had a problem with the hinge becoming so loose from opening and closing the phone that it will not send or receive audio, open or closed.The phone will text fine and calls can be placed and received without audio,

Is there a way to open a picture that someone sent me via email? How about a video? For example if they email me a URL to a website is there a way I can highlight that URL and click OK and it will send me to that link? If not, What is the work-around?

Has anyone noticed that the alerts portion of ESPNMVP doesn't work with the version 9 update? Any idea when that will be available?

Is the new service feature on LG Voyager City ID just an enhanced caller ID feature as described by cust svr. Or is it data driven in where I would occur data charages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello All-

I got my Voyager a few weeks ago..and being the dumbdumb that I am, left it outside overnight. It didn't rain, but when I found it the next morning, it was covered in dew. Now I'm having trouble turning it on. Sometimes it will turn on, but most of the time it won't. I don't see any water in it, I've taken out the battery a few times and tried to dry it off..I've tried holding down the power button for a minute or so, but nothing.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how I could fix this thing?

(Of course I didn't get insurance on it, is there a warranty?)

Ok i was taking some pictures of my car today, and the pictures on my Voyager saved fine to the memory card HOWEVER when i went into my picture gallery to view them, some of them just had that weird question mark over it and it was blank? I've heard about it before but what does that mean? Now does anyone else expereice this? It only happened a few times and is not constant but it is defintely weird that's for sure. Any help is appreciated. I mean i have no idea what it is. I tried popping my battery off and starting the phone back up again buti t still did it. I'm not replacing my phone cause it still works it's just weird like I said...Thanks!

hey all.. i just downloaded bitpiim for the voyager for the first time. It finally recognized my phone and in the main menu setup of bitpim, i can upload my contacts and calendar info so far. I was looking at someone's tutorial of the voyager w/ bitpim on youtube and they said you have to click on the file system tab which is on the left side of the screen. Unfortunately, I don't see this file system tab so if anyone could please give me some help w/ this i'd apprecaite it. I mean using bit pim isn't very important to me i can live without it if it really doesn't work but i though it would be cool to play around with some flash games for the voyager that's all. Thanks in advance.

does anybodys outside screen dim while your using it? because sometimes i would be textin or somethin and all of a sudden it jus gets dim and dark

There have been times that after ending a phone call, and it is usually when I'm on my bluetooth, I will get a beep with EV DO and several bars at the top left portion of the screen. While this is on the screen I am not able to make or receive calls. It only happens on occasion and it only lasts for a few moments. It used to happen on my VX 8300 and it has happened on my Voyager a couple of times. What is the cause of this and is there anything that I can do to stop it?

Have read different threads about visual voicemail being completely free and others saying that there will be a charge. Customer service today said that the cost is $2.99 a month
