LG Voyager VX-10000

Is there a shortcut to view yahoo email? On my old enV, it seemed easier (I check my email at work often, and want the process to be as easy as possible). As of now, the shortest route I can take to check my yahoo email is as follows:
- access Mobile Web (I have this set to a shortcut)
- select Email from the VZW home screen
- select Yahoo Mail from the email screen

Also, what are pro's and con's of the Mobile Email app? Is it worth it? Right now I have vcast which gives me unlimited web data... I hate paying $15/month when all I do is check my web-based email... $5/month would be MUCH more reasonable, but I'm afraid of vzw's data usage charges...

- is there a way to disable Mobile TV? This is not a feature I use, and I

Has anyone noticed that the dial fonts don't change when you switch between normal and large? They are always large. Actually I went the the vzw store and noticed that most of the phones are this way. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Any help here?

I just can't find a bluetooth that can fit on my small ear so I'm going to look for a corded headset. Just wanted some opinions on which is the best corded headset for the Voyager. I have used them in the past with other phones and they sounded horrible. Not sure if it was the headset or the phone. I'm hoping there are some better ones out there these days. Again, any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I purchased my Voyager 2 weeks ago. I really like the phone except for one thing: the ring volume. I have the phone volume set on high and you still can barely hear the phone ring; and my hearing is GREAT. I have taken it to the store twice, they can't figure out why. Told me to deal with it or download my own ringtones. Never heard that answer b4..always been told your downloaded ringtones are not as loud as the tones that come with the phone. I had already downloaded some ringtones, those ring even lower.

I can't seem to find the external speaker. Is there one on here? I was thinking of exchanging it for a totally different phone but trying to figure out if it's worth paying the $35 restock fee. This may sound silly, but I bought the ph...

My contract is ending soon. I was wondering if I spoke to the loyalty department what would they offer me to stay with Verizon. I have been with for Verizon for 8 years. However, there ar so many offerings from the other providers that intrique me to test the market. But if Verizon did make some kind of offering maybe I would still be tempted to stay put. not sure if this question has been brought up in previous forums but i must ask. just purchased the Voyager saturday and did not realize how it holds NO charge; therefore i must get a car charger b/c of my job. the charger sold by VZW is $25 with my corporate discount; i found an after market for $12.99. i've been told by VZW NOT to use after market chargers b/c it can damage the phone. is that true? wondering if anyone out there is using an after market car charger and if so, how is it working out for you & how long have you had it? wondering if VZW is just trying to make a sale. thanks.

That is the question. I do not have any problems with my voyager. Never minded the software on it but now that there is a new software , I am considering it. Just don't know if the new features are going to make it worthwhile for all the other things that I have to do manually (add back contacts, ringtones, etc.). Was considering going to Verizon to upgrade today so any help would be fantastic!

For those of you who have upgraded...are you glad you did or do you wish that you had stuck with the original? have V07.

My niece just got the Titanium Voyager and I noticed a big difference in the phone software. Is there a way for me to update my Black Voyager so that it looks like the Titanium Voyager software? Also, how would I find out what software version my Black Voyager has? THANKS

with or without mobile tv? able to stream slingbox? download apps like iphone? Flashplayers that can open up anything, including yesnetwork vids, myspace vids, etc etc. external av cables too? come on i want this super phone to come out already, any ideas ?

I got my perfectly functioning voyager flashed from ver 10 to ver 11. Guess what! Now my bluetooth won't pair with any thing including my cars (Range Rover)hands free system. Version 10 worked perfectly with the vehicle. Verizon says sorry nothing we can do now and we cant go back to ver 10 but let us suggest you buy a new blackberry.

Anyone heard anything on whether the previously mention upgrade v12 will ever really be out?

I tested a titanium Voyager at Verizon and called a friend. My friend reported good voice quality on their end, but my friend sounded unclear as in "Charlie Brown's Teacher"... very muffled.

Is this a common occurrence?

I don't get it why was the LG Voyager considered an iPhone killer when it first came out. The iPhone is so dynamic an you can add a lot of apps. Am I missing something?

Hi, I'm going to be getting a Voyager here at the end of the month when I'm able to renew my contract and I just have a few questions about the Micro SD cards for it. I know that it uses Micro SD cards, but I know that for most phones they can only use a card that's so big(seems like it's usually 1 GB, that's what it was for both my KRZR and my Treo), but the bigger ones will still work just with only the 1 GB or whatever, and there's also usually some way around it so that you can use bigger ones(again, this was the case with my KRZR and Treo). So my questions are, what is the most memory a Voyager can use from a Micro SD card, if you get a bigger one will it still work, and is there a way around it to be able to use a bigger one?

I keep getting data charges on my bill even though I don't use the data feature. I have found it on vcast when in my purse a few times so I assume that's where the charges are coming from.

Why does the Voyager have data charges even to view ringtones when my other phones in the past didn't? It's some type of plan but I can't remember the name of it. I am looking at the LG VENUS...does that also need this plan that will charge me for data use just to view ringtones?? 😢
