LG Voyager VX-10000

Has anyone used this product yet?

Looking at getting a Voyager and currently have America's Choice Plan that I have had for many years and they tell me I need the Nationwide Calling Plan. Can you please explain what the difference between the plans and anything else you would like to share with me?

I love the Voyager but the number 1 problem I have with it is that it can't stream live MP3 radio like my Sprint phone could. So I'm left using ORB Mycast and leaving my computer on in order to stream Howard Stern. Verizon most likely does thise because they want you to buy a PDA and PDA data plan. Keep in mind not all that long ago Verizon didn't offer any Non-PDA phones with an HTML browser. So Verizon is really late to the party. Late by 3 years late.

If I could find a way to stream live MP3 radio and get some more free TV streams, then I would be in Heaven! The only free TV streams I have found ofer black & white programs. Someone did a while back find a way to hack MobiTV's channels and people were watching those with their Voyager. ...

Does anyone know if the Voyager can stream live internet radio? Verizon has always locked out this feature for every phone except for the PDA's. Does this phone change any of that?

I noticed an upgrade to the mobile email program today because I couldn't sign into any of my accounts, and while it seems that the upgrade will make it work on the touchscreen now, which is awesome, I still can't access any of my accounts. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas how to fix it? I already tried removing the application and reinstalling it. Also tried powercycling the phone multiple times to no avail. Can anyone help?

Tried to sign up online but wouldn't work. Was told by customer service that I needed an upgrade. Called stores and some never heard of it and others said it has not been launched yet. Some say that we will have to pay for it when the site that doesn't work now said it was free. Don't know when the upgrade will be.

is anyone else having issues with their Voyager power cycling itself. Mine is doing both in and out of calls and i am on my second phone for the same issue. I have not making any modifications to the device except for adding a memory card. Any ideas???????

Does Anyone know of where I can download applications for my LG Voyager? Besides using the Verizon store?

I had my Internet homepage set to my favorites screen, I had to do a *228 option 1 to fix a Navigator problem. It now comes up to the generic Verizon screen, I tried recycling power, retrying *228 option 1 and cannot get it to set back to the my favorites page. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

ok so when i first bought my phone, i could hold about 210 or more messages in my inbox, the regular 50 in my outbox. Now, my phone is saying 100% full at 200 messages inbox. Is anyone else experiencing this or knows why this is happening cause i'm baffled and it's cofusing me. I just want the phone to be able to hold as many text messages at possible before deleting them. Other than that, I love the phone. Thanks for any help that is offered by the way. 😁

I just got the Voyager. I must say this phone is the perfect fit for my hands as they are kinda big. At any rate......I have added my email account to the mobile email application and I have 2 questions....First off if someone sends me a pic to my email how can I if possible take the pic out of my email and add it to my phone as wallpaper. Also when I download music can I use that song as a ringtone!!

I have some questions about the Voyager refresh. I am not up for an upgrade till November and really want the Voyager. If I made the purchase in Nov will the refresh be automatic to that phone or will I still have to take it in? Also, you don't think it will drive the price back up? Right now it is at a good price and was hoping it would drop even more with the release of the 4th quarter gems like the Voyager 2? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to access my E*TRADE account to view my stocks, now I can not. Get in OK but it quits at retreving account info (shows a clock face) Any one else with this problem??

If I purchase a Voyager are we still forced to buy buy the V-Cast package like when the phone first came out. I do not use the Internet. I like everything else about this is why I want one. I just dont want to purchase a feature not neccessary for me. Thanks everyone!!! 😁

Why doesn't Verizon offer a software upgrade for The Voyager to let it do Over the Air Software Upgrades like the LG Dare allows you to do.

well it took 9 months but i finally am starting to like the voyager i fully pimped it with 8 gigs now maxed out and the mp3 player is stupid slow now, i hate that and i bought a clear cover for it that makes it look like a true rugged electonic device also maxed out my plan with everything, i just hate how slow everything is with the 8 gig card in.. i also had the pleasure of having an iphone for a short period of time and must say the iphone is a much better "device" than the voyager but the voyager is much better phone, we do need to improve the touchscreen on the voyager and the load times on the card and add a 3 megapixal camera with flash and up it to 16 gigs with wi-fi on the voyager 2 and i think i might be happy,,, and ohhh ya this i...

I copied wma files onto a micro sd via card reader, popped the card into the slot on the phone and it doesn't recognize anything in "my music" I ensured I copied the files into the "my music" folder when in was in the reader, but still won't populate on the phone.

I went to memory card usage option in phone and displayed the artist, but not in the my music folder of Vcast music. I tried formatting the card and still nothing, except now it doesn't recognize any files under memory usage (card usage), although it does when the card is in my computer?

I got the Voyager just before the BB Curve 8330 came out. I should have waited and got the Curve.

My question is, what do I have to do to my Voyager to be able to sell it on EBay or via some other means. Do I have to have it disconnected on my current contract and will Verizon allow me to do that? If I do have it disconnected, will I lose my current Verizon phone number even if I later purchase a Curve and have it activated through Verizon? Will Verizon let me change phones like this on the same contract?

Probably some simple questions but I've never sold a cell phone so I want to make sure I do it right.

I hate when people down grade a phone when it comes out! Verizon is very good at fixing the bugs with new software updates which I dont know any other carrier that does. This phone the Voyager is only gonna get better in time and is not past its prime! Be patient some of you! And the Dare is in no way better than the Voyager!

well im back to hatin this thing again the 2 upgrades i got which i was excited about bolth turned out to be bogus. The 8 gig card works terrible it takes about a full 2 mins. to activate the mp3 player and about 3 secs to switch songs on it also i thought id have more songs than 1660 with 150 short vids and 100 pics, and its all used up. and the case i got for it which did look awsome if it didnt catch dirt in the clear plastic case and looks like crap, and also pits the chromee.. and my newly fourth Voyager...yeahhh for that..still thinking about a pda..??anyone else..my bill is currently 165 per month....
