LG Voyager VX-10000

Youtube works just fine! Go on your browser and click entertainment and then videos and then you will see youtube and click on it and there you go.

My mom just got one of these, and I have concluded that it's a turd. People that think phones like this are an iPhone killer have never used an iPhone. They just basically took the previous version of this phone and slapped some touch-screen icons on it. It sucks, enough said.

A few weeks ago, I noticed the bottom row of my keypad going on and off when I text messaged. Now, the entire keypad goes off randomly. Mostly all the time. Also, when I hit the unlock button on the front, the display blinks. I suppose it needs to be replaced. I mentioned it to a tech at Verizon and he said that the software needs to be updated. Your thoughts????

I have a Plantronics BT ear piece (not sure of model) and I like it. However he lately people on the other end asking me are they on Speakerphone or some will say they hear feedback in their ear etc. I do a lot of driving and a BT works better for instead of holding the phone up to my head.

So what is a GOOD BT to consider that doesn't have those above mentioned issues?

does this phone even have the cent symbol, i mean its got 10 pages of symbols {including the entire german alphabet} and it dosent have the damn cent symbol.

also at this time id like to say after this phone now since november i really feel like im getting less now then when i first had it from it's service because of the lack of the mobile youtube service now and you cant even e-mail verizons now, whats that about? when did that even start? ive also been a verizon customer for over 4 years now and it's like they restrict our cell-phone "privliges", if you wanna call them that, as time goes on. anyone agree? they act the government giving us less control as we keep giving them money.

I'm a Verizon Wireless Authorized Agent who has owned the Voyager since the week it was released. Just wanted to voice a few issues that remain unresolved, to see if anyone around this forum has figured out more of the phone than I have.

1. Keyboard beeps with every button press when on speakerphone, despite the fact that key sounds are off. If it stayed silent, I could text and talk at the same time.

2. Volume keys beep with every button press while on a call. If I'm adjusting the volume, it's because I can't hear the other party well; so why would I need several beeps to obscure the audio. Even on other phones, these volume beeps are produced in conjunction with the call audio, but on the Voyager, they pause it completely.

I recently ordered the Glyde through customer service and have not yet activated. I read the reviews on the Glyde and they were not very good. I called customer service today and can get a Voyager on sale with rebates and discounts. The reviews seem to be good so I have a couple questions for those of you that have used the Voyager.
1. Is the Voyager a better choice than the Glyde?
2. What is the cheapest price through Verizon?
3. What extra charges or programs will I have to subscribe to so that the Voyager works at the fullest potential... like V-Cast? or the GPS service or anything else you can tell me.

Greetings all....I would like to know if anyone can help me in tranferring a movie to my sd card on my Voyager. I am using Pinnacle Mobile Media Converter. After I download a movie I use Pinnacle to convert the file to a 3g file but then what? Can someone please provide the next steps? Thanx in advance.

i am wondering if you can make ringtones for the voyager.....

like if you have songs on your computer, can you take pieces of a song and make it into a ringtone for the Voyager???

So, do any of you have a faceplate protecting the entire phone? I see so many different ones on ebay...some are even swarovski crystals (expensive).

I don't want to ruin the phone by snapping these things on and off...

Can I send the ringtones from PHONEZOO to my e-mail rather than directly to my phone? I use mobile 17.com and send them to my e-mail , then upload them directly to the memory card on the phone.

So I'm on my moms family plan right now, I pay like $19 a month and get unlimited of all kinds of messages. I'm upgrading to the voyager on the 20th, but I dunno how to add unlimited web browsing to my moms plan... I've heard of something called the V CAST V Pack, but I don't really know what that is -- some sort of flat fee for unlimited data?

Could someone explain to me how much I'd have to pay to get unlimited web browsing added onto my line on the family plan?

I have taken my music from ITUNES, onto a cd , and then ripped it back onto my computer using windows media player. For some reason, now it won't allow me to use them as ringtones using mobile17 or phonezoo as I have done before. It comes out as a different file type. The type that worked was WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO FILE and the new files that I just ripped today are coming out as CD AUDIO TRACK and the new CD AUDIO TRACK files will not upload. HELP!!!
