Rev A?

I posted the same question on the main VZW forum page. The software my phone came with states Rev A on the WM device disc. I seen on phone arena, Alltels already is, so... would I only assume VZW's version is too?

It's out today!

Let me know if any of you are getting it. I'm looking forward to hearing the Verizon feedback. I have read up a lot on it, but would like to know if anything is different about the Verizon version. And, I was excited to see they are offering the $29.99 data plan with it.
Looking forward to feedback! Very Happy

How to Install Voice Command V1.6

I'm new to smart phones. I just purchased Voice command 1.6.

So far the only thing I understand is to unpack the file I purchased on my lap top. Once I've done that, I don't understand what to do next.

I have not used software to sync my computer to my cell because I don't use outlook or want any sync. The only thing I'll ever want to do is to transfer files back and forth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Copy and Paste?

Does anyone know if you can copy and paste with this phone? I have a Blackberry currently and am constantly copying phone numbers and pasting them (to email or text to others).

My friends with the iphone have complained about not being able to copy and paste. I can't lose that functionality!

Trying to find a good video converter....

.... thats compatible with this phone. One that can compress movies to the same resolution format that the Touch has in fullscreen view (240x320). Anyone know of one?

Can I sync with my mac?

I am brand new here and have found all the info posted very helpful. I am seriously considering the purchase of the HTC Touch if it does become available through verizon tomorrow.

I would like to know if any of you current owners/users sync this phone with your mac? If so, what third party software are you using? Do you encounter any issues?

I much appreciate any info experienced users can give me. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible for this phone to do Direct Connect?

It will have Rev.A and a program can be created to run Direct Connect on it. But does it need a hardware thats needed in the phone to do this or is it just software. I think all it needs do to is transfer Voice input using maybe the speaker phone to VOIP.

Quick answer/ Quick call ??

I am anxiously waiting for this phone to come to VZ. Never having a touch type phone I have two questions.
1. Is it easy to quick/ speed dial a number. For me I am used to one handed speed dialing a number while driving or one the go.

2. Answer one handed, Easy ??

Verizon release date

I just got off the phone with my business rep and he got word today that the XV6900 will be released on April 16th. It will be $299 with 2 year contract, but you could do NE2 plus their $100 advanced device discount plus a $50 mail in rebate and get it for $49.99 plus tax.

I can't wait!
