So I'm thinking of switching over to this phone on Verizon from my Treo 700WX and wanted to check on a few things here first.

The search feature on the today screen of the 700WX is absolutely something I cannot do with out. In Santa Barbra and want a steak? Type in "santa barbara california outback" and hit enter and you get the phone number and address to the nearest outback. In Portland and want to hit a Best Buy, type in ""portland oregon best buy" address and phone numbers pop right up.

Does the Mogul do the same?

My Treo's bluetooth sucks, just cannot use a BT headset with it. Works at first, then quickly enters the realm of no longer working, static etc constantly. Tried a bunch of different headsets and Treo's - always the ...

I've waited so long for the release of this phone...only to be pretty disappointed. The speed on IE is much slower than the competitors. The silly converter they shipped with the phone to use stereo headphones is cumbersome to say the least. It's not classy like the TMobile Blue Wing or it's new upgrade or ATTs Tilt. Mine is going back...I'll wait for something better or pick out a replacement. Should be very happy at the price I paid.

I have the palm 700WX on WM5 now and I get faxes frequently in my email that come in the form of a TIFF file which of course I cannot natively open on the 700WX WM5 phone...

Does anyone know if the Mogul WM6 phone support TIFF files?

I heard that new Sprint customers can get something called a SERO plan. So, I did some research and thought that was really help my pockets being as though I'm a college student.
So, is there a NICE Sprint employee that wouldn't mind me using their employee email address so I can get a SERO plan????

The XV6800 is my first smartphone (unless you count the i760 that I recently returned after two weeks). I want to improve its functionality, especially the voice dialing.

Anybody using Spb's apps on a Mogul or XV6800?

I am looking at MS Voice Command, Spb Mobile Shell, maybe Pocket Plus 4.0.1, and some GPS software if the phone can do GPS without an additional device.

Anybody have experience with any of these apps?

Hey Sprint_2007, youve seem to be the man with all the answers,lol... Just want to give you my scenario and my questions

My current contract with sprint has expired,but im still using the phone, i ordered the centro with a new account under sero, because i thought sprint would give me hassle for trying to get a SERO account and the centro for $99. But i read on one of your post that, the sero applies to existin customers with expired contract. I didnt activate my centro yet, but it does have a new number.

my question is
1: Would have been able to do the sero account like im a new customer, and keep my same number, and not have to deal with the hassle of calling in etc?
2:Is there any way now that i have both phones, to get my old ...

I already posted that the reps said the 28th online,but today when i called 2 different reps said there is NO DEFINITE DATE AT THIS MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!I am f__kin freakin out,verizon is such a f cked outfit,doin this sh/t to us loyal customers,f ckin bu//sh/t,,,i loooked at att and they just have so many different options its rediculous,,our verizon selection blows,,its boreing,and they wait till the very last moment to release out dated sh/t...im about to check myself into a mental ward...i have 3 lines so im kind of stuck,,,i might just bite the bullet and make the move..f_ck verizon

Anyone had the 4GB HCSD and used Sprint Music Store? When I tried to access my music I already purchased before and transferred to my new 4GB from the 512MB it keep giving me "Error M505:Unable to Read Memory Card" does this means that the Music Store can't read the FAT32?!! or I am missing something? Do I have to reformat 4GB as FAT instead of FAT32? will the Mogul still be able to recognize and read and write from it? any input is appreciated.

6800 now avaialble to business customers!!

My Mogul keeps redialing by itself. Sometimes I take it out of the holster and I see the time is like 8 minutes in a call. Last week it dialed I think the last 5 or so numbers in my call history.
Each person called me back asking why I did not say anything when I called or sorry we missed your call (when I never really called them). This is really getting annoying to me and my minutes are going SO high. Any help is appreciated.

I'm loving my Alltel 6800 to death, but I've been unable to get a movie on my phone. I've got 8 gigs worth of cards lying around. What software is everyone using to get a movie on there? Size and format? is the video/audio sync decent? Any help is appreciated!

According to Engadget, which sourced PPCGeeks and it's user VerizonGuy... The xv6800 has a November 16th hard release date set with a potential soft release on the web Nov 2nd, which is the same day that the Samsung i760 is officially hitting the retail channel.

Hey! i was wondering...besides the mobi tube,& them apps is there ANY REAL WORKING APPs for the mogul out there? Copped the phone about a month ago & wnated somthing to load up...Any liks ? 😢
