HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000

Im dying for the 6800 to come out for Verizon. Does ANYONE have any info? The only thing I have seen on all the sites is sometime around July 14-18th. Is this legit? I need to get rid of my piece of crap sidekick 3 ASAP!

alltel qwest and sprint already have this phone and verizon aint competin??! wow! oh well i have the 6700 and i just want a regular phone back but jeez i cant believe verizon is still tentative! 🤣

Hi all,

I've got the Mogul with Qwest and I want to move the pictures from my pictures folder on the phone to my laptop. I'm running Vista Home Premium. When I attempt to copy the picts or folders it gives me an access denied error. Any one have an idea how to get those pics off?

Is it coming? If so any ideas as to when? I have the 8703 and am thinking about going to the 8830, but I would take the Pearl 2 over the 8830 because of the size.

Also I have one more question if anyone cares. I used the XV6700 for longer than I care to think about, and I loved all the little things that windows mobile has to offer i.e. Music, Video, File viewing, Internet Explorer, and camera. What I did not like about the XV6700 is all the problems it had like flight mode, constant resets, phone freezing up, and I was used to the instant email that the Blackberrys offer that you cannot have with the windows mobile. So that brings me to my question which is this, since it seems that the blackberry does all of these things is there any r...

Getting ready to buy my first Smartphone (currently have the Sanyo MM8300); long time Sprint user and happy with them. Went to Sprint store to try some out. Can't decide between 755 and the Mogul. Most of you all seem to be comparing the Mogul to other Windows-based devices. I realize I may not be comparing apples to apples here. Had a few questions/concerns about each phone. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

I called Sprint's customer care and they said I HAD to purchase an EVDO data plan to use the internet on the 6800. Is this true? I currently have Vision on my Katana and she said that Vision isn't compatible with the 6800. Help me please... before I spend almost 600 bucks on this phone. Thanks

So sprint is having this contest where the first 1000 people to sell 6 8830s gets one for free... well i think blackberries are crap so i wasnt interested... i just did a six liner with moguls though and my manager said hes going to talk to my dm to get me a free mogul for doing six new acts in one day on them...

Does anyone know if there are air time charges or any type of charge if you browse the net on Wi-Fi, if you don't have a data plan? ( say on home wireless network)

and after looking further, I found a 8gb MicroSDHC on the way, don't know the price yet, don't know if the 6800 will accepr it:

for some reason when i soft reset or any thing when i try to sign bak onto windows messenger all my contacts show offline nd i have to go to windows live nd have to set switch account nd do everythning over any one noes how to fix it

Can somebody give me a straight answer on Verizons release date. My local store said they had training on the phone but can't say when it will be released. Verizon Corp. say they don't have any info on the release date. Anybody help!
