Can somebody give me a straight answer on Verizons release date. My local store said they had training on the phone but can't say when it will be released. Verizon Corp. say they don't have any info on the release date. Anybody help!

I have a friend that works for Verizon and he was speaking of thw whole Verizon situation as they weren't sold on the phone...like they still have not decided if they were going to sell it. He is a sales rep @ the store so that decision is much above his head but I don't see how they let their rival release the phone 3 months before they do. Also, it sort of make sense since HTC is releasing a newer version of the phone now in Europe, the TyTn II(http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_tytn _II.htm). If Verizon releases the Mogul soon AT&T will be releasing an updated version probably a month or two afterward. They might as well wait until next year and drop the TyTn II. It makes no sense to release it now even though we all want the phone. ...

That's a good point Davey, but the TyTn II is going to be a GSM phone, and since Verizon is CDMA....it could be a really long time before VZW gets it.

I agree that it would be wise to hold out on releasing this phone since there is newer stuff around the corner. . .but. . .it's gotta sting a bit to see Alltel be on board first with this phone.
