Can someone please tell me when the xv6800 is being released ? I've been waiting for this pda for ever it seems.

Not a surprise to anyone, but the Verizon dealer on 86th in Manhattan said he expects the release to be Nov. 16-18th, which jives with the unofficial announcement posted a couple weeks ago. Although the anticipated earlier 'soft' opening has yet to happen.

I physically had a test model of this phone in my hand about a month ago. And it felt (pause) beautiful. This occurred @ the VZ 34th Street location. So this is beyond speculation now. A good estimation would be late November to mid December. Everyone knows they run a billion tests before release.

I see that VZW is finally advertising this unit as "coming soon" on their web site. đ
