HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000

I am looking for recommendations for a Bluetooth car kit that works well with the VZW XV6800 phone.

I am currently just Googling for reviews, but I figured this place would be better.

I bit the bullet and got the mogul on vzw today (writing this on it now).

one slight irritation I can't figure out, on my previous phone (700wx) I had dialing delay on my voice mail speed dial that would essentially call voicemail, wait 2 seconds then enter the password for me automatically...VERY handy! well now that I have a slider keyboard it's even more desireable to have but when I enter the commas "," for the delay the phone ignores them and actually removes them...anyone know how to do this?

I loaded voice command 1.6 on my XV6800. It works fabulously with the button (button5) on the phone, but only mostly works with either of my 2 motorola bluetooth headsets.

The issue on the bluetooth is that it'll accepted the command "call john doe at work" but it "misses" me saying "correct" or "yes" after it repeats the command back. Again, if I use the button on the side, it works great. On occasion, the BT headset will work normally, but mostly not.

Here's what I did to install:

1) installed the cab
2) updated my button assignment in Start/Settings/Buttons to button 5 (by default it gets assigned to the messaging button)
3) moved the sddaemon out of the "my deviceWindowsStart up" folder and rebooted

I need help. I just purchased a new Mogul from sprint, how do I change my language so that the information on the phone is displayed in the different language, for example, from English to Spanish???? Thank you!!!! 😳

hey every one, I just got the mogul and recently I updated from the old ROM to the new ROM which is version 2.17.651.0. ever since i updated to this version, i've been experiencing problems such as the phone freezing. this happens out of no where, i won't even be using the phone and when i pull it out and turn the screen on, it will not come on. this has never happened before the ROM update...has any one else been experiencing the same thing?? please provide feedback on any fixes or any advice that you guys have. I really appreciate it.

does anyone know why when i type certain peoples names on the external digital keypad like (fred) for instance ,and i hit the number 3 key three times to get an (F) it doesnt work like on a regular cellphone...it frustrating the heck outta me...please help

I saw a Sprint thread regarding the alarm not working if the phone is off or on the charger. Those folks claimed that a fix is in the works.

Should the alarm work if the phone is turned off? I have VZW and the XV6800.

With my old Moto E815, I could set the alarm and then turn off the phone and it would wake up and sound the alarm.

The alarm not working from an Off state is an annoyance. Not working while on the charger is downright stupid. I plug my phone into a charger at night, and the alarm will not work as long as its on the charger. Great travel alarm!

I need to be able to have the phone turned off or at least in flight mode to conserve battery, and be able to charge it and sound the alarm.

Does Opera Mini work on the VX6800? I believe you have to load a JVM first. If so, is one best and where do you get it?

Otherwise, I have Opera Mobile working and it is ok, but I hear Mini might be better.

I copied the ring tone and new email sounds I used on my treo 700wx from my wifes 700wx to my new xv6800 and they sound NOTHING alike...completely different...I copied them again in email this time rather than beaming them as I did last time and same thing...what's up with that, anyone know?

Hows the internet browser on this phone? Is it like the iphone where its full internet (like can run flash applications) or just an HTML browser like Voyager?

may sound like a crazy question, but do they...I just don't want to use the crap out of the wifi on this phone and get charged per kilo byte...like i said i assume not, cuz I'm not using their network...but assuming can make an @$$ out of me thanks in advance

Is the 6700 and the 6800 have the same usb connections?
