Anyone know when the 6102 is going to be released for Cingular. I really want it.

Like it says, I need some software. I want to get some that will convert my mp3's to AAC's for my Nokia 3300. I need something fast and simple, I don't care for learning complex software, just want something that will drag and drop... is there such a thing? I have looked around, but all of the trial versions are always blocked from allowing full functionality.... Any help greatly appreciated!!

Just got the Nokia 6255i from Alltel. Very happy with the phone but I can't figure out how to assign part of an mp3 I transfered to the phone. I want to assign it as a ring tone for one of my specific contacts.

I've figured out and understand how to make the mp3 the default ringtone for the phone, BUT I don't see a way to make the mp3 the ring tone for a specific contact in my phone book.

Any ideas?

When I transfer appts from my calendar on my Ipaq pocket pc, the time for the appt that transfers is off by 5 hours every time. The time is set correctly on the pocket pc and the cell phone. Any ideas? I tried to change the gmt time zone, but then the time is wrong on the phone.

Anyone have any idea why Nokia stopped using model numbers that gave a clue about what that phone was for? It used to be that you could have some clue what technology the phone was for by the last two numbers e.g. XX20/60/65 was for TDMA IS-136, XX70/85 was for CDMA, XX90 was for GSM 1900. For Euro/Asian most models either ended in XX10 or XX50. Now it's impossible to determine what a phone's technology is for except that to differ North American versions from Euro/Asian the NA version has a b after the model number.

when u surf the web on the 6670 or 7610 does it have real web like on a pc? second question can these phones view attachments on emails?

excellent phone just bought it last week but had a small problem was in one of the menus when i switched from the mmc memory to internal 12mb memory and now i am not able to find that option where i can switch back. Anybody know how i can switch storage from intrnal mem to the mmc card as i am not able to store anything in th mmc currently , pleazz help

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a brand new Nokia N70. Anyone else try it yet? What about other phones in the N-series?

Is the Nokia 6682 an improvement on the 6680? Or is it (the 6682) a different machine? In either case, does one seem to be better than the other?

Can I use the MMC card in my computers card reader/writer with PC Suite or for downloading/uploading pictures with windows explorer?

The more I check out the 6680 the more I am inclined to give the candybar format a chance. Is there anyone here who has a candybar type phone who has had a bad experience from the display and the screens being unprotected? Are all of you living in peachy keen land with no problems from the lack of a clamshell? I am becoming SO tempted, especially after seeing the 6680 ad on video on the Nokia website...

Can you transfer stored text messages out of a Nokia 3285? I'm retiring one with about 30 saved messages that I'd like to keep. Is it possible to save them to my PC using one of those data cables from eBay?

Stopped in at Mall Of America today and had a chance to look at 6682 employee was training on. Very nice, guy says he likes it alot. Asked him when the release date was and he said he thought he heard mid August which he jokingly translated to a late September release date. Another employee at same store pulled out his Black Berry to look up the release date and said he thinks mid August as well. 😳 Oh Well.

I am looking at the Nokia 6230 and am wondering if it will effectively function as an mp3 player. One thing that concerns me is the lack of headphone connections. For it to play music must one buy a set of bluetooth headphones? If so are there bluetooth headphones (as in stereo and good for listening to music) that also function as handsfree?

I do not quite understand why a phone would have mp3 capability if there is no way to actually listen to the music.

Wondering if anyone else has run into this??
