Hello, i'm in the process of unlocking a sprint nokia 3588i to put on the verizon network. I got the msl code and prl for verizon, i manually programed my mdn, min, sid by dialing *#639#. Now i'm stumped??? i know i have to change the msl to 000000, but i have no idea what menu i have to go into to make the changes? what else do i have to do before i call vzw to program the esn in? thanks for any input!

Will Cricket ever have nokia again? Nokia was awsome when they were with cricket, now all we have is stupid kyrocera phones and audiovox.

Which Nokia has the largest display? I am looking to get a Nokia with the number 1 priority being reception and second a display screen that is not so small. I am familiar with the 6010 but would like something with a bigger (as far as numbers and text on display) and more clearer display if there is such a Nokia.

cingular is releasing this phone in july, but from what we received in the store it won't be until Q4 that it will support the "talks" software when cingular plans on launching that service. my question, is if i buy the phone as soon as it comes out, what happens when they introduce push to talk in Q4, is it an easy upgrade to the phone or would doing a warranty exchange take care of that, or am i out of luck??

I'm wondering, what do you think that Nokia may release?

With the release of the Nokia 1600, isn't it time for a Nokia 2600 successor? Maybe the 2600 successor can have a 16-bit color screen and a CIF camera.

Another phone that can receive an upgrade is the Nokia 3220. The 3220 can have its screen upgraded, either to 208x208 resolution or to 18-bit color. The VGA camera can also be upgraded to a megapixel camera, and Bluetooth can also be added. It should be the new high-end GSM 3xxx Expression Series 40 phone.

One product line that Nokia doesn't update much is the 5xxx Active series. What are the chances of Nokia releasing a ruggedized smartphone in that family?

Hi, I just got my new phone and I can't figure out for the life of me, along w/ the guy at Alltel...If you can do 2 things.

1. Can you turn the speakerphne on, and then dial? Or do you have to dial then speakerphone?

2. The guy who sold me the phone said you don't have to use voice tags. That the phone reconizes by the contact name. So, if I have "mom and dad" programed, I should just say mom and dad, or even "330 xxx xxxx", and it should dial w/ out my training of the phone. Any ideas?

i currently have a 6225 (which i love, except for a few things, outlined below) with sprint service and am in contract until September 06...i was just wondering if anyone know of any CDMA phone Nokia or anyone else might be introducing anytime between now and then that i might be interested in?

-i like bar phones, but prefer flip phones, because with a flip you just dont have the hassle of keyguard
-camera...love it so much i require it in a phone
-speakerphone...love it so much i require it
-ringtones...the 6225 will dnload them, but only polyphonic (MIDI) ... is it possible to get a "Real Music" (MP3) ringtone onto a nokia? if not, i would be willing to get a phone from another manufacturer, provided it had all the other features abo...

Anybody know if there is a decent replacement keypad for a 6230 that has a better multi-direction/select button? The problem I have with the one it came with is that I find it difficult to push it as a select without accidentally hitting one of the directions too.

Just bought a 6630. Big surprise when trying to install PCSuite. Doesn't support Windows ME or anything prior to 2000 and XP. Tried installing PCSuite 5.8 with ME cable driver but still no joy. Nokia customer services tell me after 2 days that it's just not compatible - great help! Anyone know how i can sync to my outlook diary and address book

I have been waiting patiently for the nokia 7610 to be sold in retail stores since it was only sold online and now its not even online.....What happened did the nokia 7610 get recalled and thats why its not on cingulars website anymore? if someone has the answer let me know because i called a retail location and they said its been discontinued?????how could this be?

Any chance that Cingular will see on of these in the near future?
