Nokia 1208

New here, but came across this which looked great. I have a Nokia model N1208 (V5.51) and in conversations I can hear caller but they can't hear me. It's annoying but also a mystery. I haven't knowingly changed any setting — though I did drop it which may have messed things up (though it never has before!). As far as I know, it's not on 'silent' mode ... Any ideas? If so, they will be gratefully received!

I have had this phone for a month now and I would have to say I am quite satisfied. Speaker and earpiece loud and clear. Dust resistant keypad is easy on the touch. Battery life is superb. Flashlight a plus. Small screen not a huge sacrifice considering the basic form factor and funtionality. I would recommend this Nokia to anyone who does not need too many extras and that just wants a phone that does the job and does it very well. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

It's got a flashlight. yay!

Make sure that the firmware is version 4.00. Any previous version has a restart glitch when using the right short-cut key. 😉

This phone will launch with T-Mobile's new prepaid plan, Pay by the Day.

not too exciting, but it will be very affordable for those consumers with a tight budget and aren't looking for anything fancy.
