Dear Nokia,

More US 3G please. I’m surprised at the lack of Nokia phones that support US 3G GSM networks. I mean we only have the N75... I guess we'll see more Nokia GSM 3G when T-Mobile gets’s their network going. I'm hoping for tri-band 3G phones here in the US that support 850/1700/1900 bands and maybe exclusive phones or ports of the Euro Asian counterparts. Anyways, I’m just ranting.... I like a lot of Nokia's Euro Asian 3G phones but I’m not going to drop 600 bucks on something that doesn't support our 3G networks. It's like buying this brand new blazing fast computer but you can only use dialup because it only supports Euro Asian DSL or Cable High Speed Internet Access. I would have dropped some cash on the N95 but hey no US 3G, it...

I have read all the reviews I can find on these 2 phones. I could go for either one. The only thing keeping from the N80IE is the slider. From what I understand there is no way to lock the keyboard? and it slips alot , so if you have it in your pocket it will make calls. Cant have that. But what I would like to know is which one you would choose and why. Thanks in advance for any info. I really do appreciate it.

I may be going at this backwards, but I found the phone I wanted and bought it unlocked: Nokia E50.

I do not have a carrier but plan on signing up with Cingular/ATT.

Here's what I want to do with the phone: (1) phone calls (duh!); (2) receive POP3 email with PDF attachments (push would be nice but not necessary); (3) some very minor web surfing (like checking the looping radar weather map, maybe a Google search, etc.).

Here's what I do NOT want to do with the phone: (1) text messaging; (2) send photos; (3) VPN support not needed

I Googled this topic and came up with some messages which I really didn't understand. I'm trying to figure out which would be the best data plan for me, MediaNet, Smartmail, or a PDA plan.

I have an e62 from cingular...well cingular sucks! and i am switching back to t-mobile..does any one have or know where i can get the unlocked codes for my nokia e62, AND HOW TO DO IT? 🤤

I'm looking to buy either the Nokia N95 or the Nokia 80. I'm trying to weigh the differences between the phones against the price difference to see if the N95 is worth my money.

Are a GPS Navigation Systems, Lens Cover, better camera (by 2 mgpx), a double slide, and a slightly worse display really worth the $300 difference? I realize which is more economically feasible, but I just want to know if you all think that the N95 is worth the extra money.

I waited for months for my 6682, and it has served me well. But its time to upgrade...I was wondering what the latest buzz was on a S60 series phone offered by Nokia, specifically a candyabr style phone with similar functionality of the 6682. (possibly the best phone ever)...Any leads???

The E90 looks cool, but doesn't sound like it justifies its potential price tag.

Not really needing Exchange email on the E61i but mainly interested in this phone for its nice screen and WiFi for web browsing. But, I am coming from a Nokia 6682 and used to traditional phone shape and easy size to fit in my front pocket.

So, anyone have any feedback on the E61 / E61i when it comes to being able to be put in my jeans pocket (versus belt clip -- hate the clips)??

A few revisions back the Nokia Software Updater started reporting that my 6682 wasn't a supported phone. Anyone having this trouble? I was able to update the phone in the past using the updater. I tried using another computer and it said the same thing. Any ideas?

☹️ i have a hard time reading the name/number time/date display on my phone when in sunlight and in my vehicle. it would be nice to have a bright green, red, blue etc. color show up on the screen when a call comes through and just when i need to check the date and time. thanks

A few questions about the 6126 which I just got today. If I want to put a custom song on there for a ringtone, what type of file (mp3/aac) should I use for best quality and what bitrate, frequency, stereo/mono, etc should be used for optimal sound on this phone?

Sent a phone to Nokia for repair last January. I called to do a follow up after 4-6 weeks. The rep I spoke with said that since the phone was not in stock to do a replacement, they would be sending a check for the pro-rated value of the phone. Told me it would take 7-8 weeks to receive it. Well that time passed and still hadn't received anything. So I called back. This time to find out they went ahead and shipped a replacement phone. Well guess what......the phone don't work!!!!!!!!!! It wouldn't register or activate on the Verizon network as it was not being recognized as a GPS compliant phone. So I called Nokia again.
