With my new 6650 fold, the camera takes very grainy pictures. Does anyone have any recommended setting to limit or eliminate this?

Thanks in advance! Very Happy

Phone turns off by itself

Sometime when I am texting it seems maybe I press the 4 key and the phone turns off. Other times I am not sure what if any button I press and the phone turns off. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what did you do? Confused

NOKIA - I love you but you are failing me and the US public.

I have a nokia 6682. i love it. it's the greatest phone i've ever had, and the longest i've owned a phone for (got it in Jan of 2006)

that obviously means it's time to upgrade.

i'm an AT+T user. so what can I get?

Nokia, you have hardly ANY models on AT+T, or any US carrier for that matter, and virtually NONE that are smartphones.

Are you really trying your hardest to lose you share of the smartphone market? While RIM and Apple are making inroads and while Apple now has the best selling phone in the US ever (the 3G iphone) you have sat around and done what? opened a flagship store?

big deal.

I really want your N79 phone. You know, they was the N95 which you even went as far as to advertise here (I saw billboards at the bus ...

Will the Nokia E51 work on US 3g Bands?

I'm checking out the Nokia E51 model. Amazon is selling a US version of th Phone but it shows operating freq for 3g as WCDMA 850/2100.
I think the US bands for 3g is WCDMA 850/1900 but i'm not sure on this.

Can someone verify if this phone will work in US.

Nokia recommendation question

I'm on AT&T and would really like to get my hands on an unbranded Nokia phone. What does everyone recommend for a non-N-series phone, quad-band, US HSPDA frequencies (if possible)? If I have to I'll look at the N-Series but I'm trying to not blow a ton of money on one if I can. Thanks.

Is 95 8GB's display really dull?

I have owned many nokia phones but have found that the current nokia model (i.e. Nokia N95 8GB)'s display is dullest of all. I mean, when out, in the day, I'm not able to view any video or whatever. Even sometimes what I'm typing to dial, isn't clear and I've to move to some shaded/dark place in order to read what I'm typing. Pls tell is it happening with me only?

2nd, I've also found that pictures taken by 3.2MP camera of N73 are much more, much more vivid and colorful than of N95.
Am I true or false. Pls comment.

Ok, quick QUIZ question for nokia FREAks like me!

Ok, I want to know what is the latest or newest "old" phone that was used with the s60 software but the 2nd edition, not the new 3rd edition. The new edition runs .SISX I want to find the newest phone that can run .SIS files. All s60 3rd edition phones can't run these files. Whats the last phone that used the older version? Thank you i advance.

6310i GPRS problem (Optus Australia)

I have a Nokia 6310i that will no longer connect to Optus Zoo using GPRS. (I used to be able to view emails by connecting through GPRS).

I now receive error messages such as 'File too large to be loaded' or 'Couldn't reach the indicated web server'.

I have tried Tech Support both at Optus and at Nokia. In the end Optus said the phone is just too old.

Does anybody know how to overcome this problem?

Thanks, Regards, Glen, Sydney, Australia.

Nokia 6820 or 6822

Has Nokia come out with a newer version of the 6820 or 6822?

Jun 21, 2008, 8:14 AM

I really don't wan't the whole Dark Knight part of the 6205, but I'm looking for a mid-range phone and don't really like the other phones Verizon has to offer. My main wants in a phone are:

1. Good reception (especially in difficult/remote areas)
2. Good voice/sound quality
3. Decent battery life
4. Camera that takes pix that are occasionally useable. I noticed the 6205 has a flash!
5. Blutooth that works
6. Decent speakerhone
7. Voice commands that work

That's it. I don't need to surf the web, text or any multi-media stuff. The music player will probably get some use, but I do have an iPod.

For anyone who has actually used the phone, what do you think, and Is it true the phone comes with an extra battery cover without the Bat...
