So by that statement... Marketing == Desperate? Then I suppose every company in every industry is desperate for business... And on this note... (correct me if i'm wrong) I recall for several months Verizon was the only carrier offering two phones for the price of one... Was Verizon marketing then... or just desperate for customers?

there's a difference between marketing and offering 8000 minutes for $39.99 with 7pm nights / weekends..
