Yes, Microsoft has a larger Market Cap, but Apple is growing much more quickly...MUCH more quickly.

-I have an 8703e on VZW (I believe VZ crippled the UI on that...they at least changed it and limited its features. So, it wouldn't surprise me if VZW wanted to do that or was annoyed that they wouldn't be able to.)
Hmmmm, Apple likes to do things their way. WHY? BECAUSE IT WORKS. Look at the stock. Jeez, it speaks for itself. And programming people into the mindset of--"I can't live without: ipod, ibook, imac, etc"
---I'm thinking about terminating my VZ contract early and going to Cingular for the UNCRIPPLED 8800 or the iPhone. Don't know yet. Might just get the 8800 for now if the iPhone isn't available.
--Also, I'm a Windows user and have an iPod video and shuffle, if that's relevant at all. I'm not an iPod groupie. Although I love the stuff I own buy them. When's the last time you said that about something Microsoft or Verizon? That's a huge draw for me.

No. It needs to support UMA - which very few phones do - and I'm pretty sure it needs to be a T-Mobile UMA phone specifically.
Note that Wi-Fi is different from UMA. Most phones with wi-fi do not support UMA.

Definitely correct. :) Only the Nokia and the Samsung will function at all for the time being, but much like MyFaves it will soon be all the phones.
