I've never worried about a custom ring tone. Mainly I just don't care. However, a friend set his up so that his ring tone is his daughter saying "Daddy, your phone is ringing." Well, that seemed neat, so I wanted to set my up the same way, using my son and/or daughter's voice. What I'm discovering is that the carriers are preventing easy and direct access to this feature in order to further line their pockets with our money. Although this is a technically simple feat, they aren't allowing this to be done by the consumer without going through them and paying a fee. So I'm looking for a way around this, if possible. I'd just like to record a short clip, get it converted to the proper format, and get it on my phone. So far I'm not findi...

Hey, I just bought a new faceplate/cover thing for my Nextel i730 and I have NO idea how to put it on. I was wondering if anyone on here did. I would have had the guy do it where i bought it, but he was charging $30 and I was like hah thats a little expensive. So please help if you can! Thanks!

i have a motorola a630 and i got the motorola hs850 bluetooth headset...works fine and all...only thing is...i cant configure it to where my mp3 ringtones ring through the headset...ne one out there dat can help me? ur service is greatly appreciated... 😁

Is there any T-Mobile Store (or anyplace else for that matter) that offers a hands on class or training of some sort for using this phone?

It has (supposedly) a terrific camera and video...but frankly I'm lost. I would love to really master this phone...i.e. text messaging, downloading ring tones and pictures etc. But the interface is not user friendly at IMHO.

Any suggestions for training? 😲 :

phone internal display washes out only when phone is turned slightly to the left. is there a way to balance this out or adjust the contrast? are there tools for this? Can this be modified? This only for internal display. 😎

I am new when it comes to cell phones and their many features so I am also clueless on how to add something to one. I recently purchased a Motorola V220 and a Motorola V551. I have seen phones where the owners had their names across the screen and have looked everywhere in these two phones on how to add ours but have had no luck. Does anyone know how you can personalize the main screen with your name on it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just recently purchased a Nokia 3205 from my Cellular South dealer. I read a review on the Nokia 3205 where another Nokia 3205 owner said they were able to download MP3s and that this phone could actually sing the words! Also, I found another cell phone site that stated that the Nokia 3205 was capable of downloading True Tones. Being tired of the same old dull polyphonic ringtones, I tried to download the MP3 and TrueTone ringers, using Nokia PC Suite . To my disappointment my phone would not recognize either format. This is really a nice phone if some one could help me with this problem I would be very grateful.

I can download the picture but the site says to save it to my phone... how do I do that? The picture is on the screen, on my phone, but yet gives me no options to save to my phone. I'm new to this technology my last phone was a moto time warp all this get it now and ring tone stuff is pretty cool. My question is, I read that there is a program I can use on my pc to get mp3's as my ring tone, does any one know where I can find it. And is it easy to use ?
