The V (VX9800) Software

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to download mp3's onto the miniSD via computer, then convert the mp3's into the format the V uses for ringtones? I believe it 3g2. Any information will be appreciated.

Razr Issues

A couple of questions regarding the Razr V3.

Why is it that when I have my Bluetooth headset linked to the phone, my ringtones don't ring? I just get a default ringtone.

And MobiTV is skippy on it. Any way to fix that?

Thanks!

N70 or D600

Hi guys im looking out for a phone with good sound quality and camera.Im very confused whether I should go with the N70 or D600.Smartphone features maynot be exactly what I require but something which is easy to operate and handle.I've read alot about the D600 and that it has an awsome cam and video quality the only thing it doesnt have is the fm radio.Radio is 1 of my reuirement also since I live in india where there is no digital radio but Im ready to live without for the sleekness of the samsung D600 and ease of use as a phone overall. What im confused about is just the sound and camera clarity when compared with the N70...which is better? Also I think N70 has smallerr keys and it becomes very tedious to work around with the phone.Which wo...

E815 Freezes

I've had a intermittent problem with the E815. It freezes during txt messaging and needs to re-boot (which it does) it only happens every 25-30 msgs. VZW has updated my software and exchanged the phone but I'm still having it. Could it be from the memory card I have in the phone ?

SIM cards and Carriers that don't use them

I have a Nokia with USCC and it has a slot for a SIM card. Would there be any benefit to buying a SIM card and just using it for my phonebook memory? I haven't don't any research into it other than this right here. Just curious what would work if anything.

I've had a couple customers come in asking about SIM cards but we don't deal with them.

Sad, ignorant Bluetooth question...

Okay, never utilized Bluetooth on a phone before, however, I'm presented with the fact I'm getting a new phone in 24-48 hours (My Motorola V551 just plain sucks, and is falling apart, so Cingular was kind enough to allow me to upgrade early...)

And one of my primary concerns is that I'm able to upload mp3's that I've cut for ringtones into my phone. I did this with my V551 with a data cable I had purchased off of Ebay, but I'm under the impression Bluetooth allows this to be done without the use of a data cable.

Now, does this require me to acquire a Bluetooth headset, or does the "infared" somehow link up with the PC? How does one go about linking up a bluetoothed phone to a pc?

Be gentle, I'm fairly retarded today. :-)

BT headset

I have a samsung sgh-d600 and I am looking for a BT headset. My primary use for this headset is to stream mp3s from my phone. So sound quality is all I care about. The d600 supports a2dp so I can get stereo sound, just curious if anybody out there can share their experiences with BT headsets. Again, all I'm concerned with is sound quality.
I've considered:
Moto HT820
Jabra BT620s (doesn't come out til late April)
Plantronics 590a
Infinxx icombi 800
IOGear GBMH201

Motorola RAZR Still Dominating US Handset Sales

a very good link to show this information;

http://www.cellular-news.com/story/16714.php »

"Merrill Lynch has carried out another of its interesting shop visits, taking in 80 stores in 4 USA regions. Following their store visits, they are maintaining their own estimates for handset sales, which do tend to be about 10% above industry expectations. Both Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel are expected to add 1.6 million customers each in Q1, with Cingular picking up 1.2 million and T-Mobile around 950,000 new customers."

"Overall, Merrill Lynch is maintaining their industry estimates for 2006. They estimate that subscriber growth will slow in US wireless, from 25.5 million net additions in 2005 to 21 million in 2006, for an ending subscri...
