bluetooth problems-your thoughts

Hi All 🤭,

This is all new to me, and I sorta got a wheelbarrow mentality. So, let me tell you guys that are much smarter than me what I've done, what I've found, and my conclusions; and see if it makes sense OR if I'm all wet.

I do RV repair, and crawl into some really tight places(and keep pulling my headset wire loose) so I decided to go wireless. I bought a Samsung A900(it gets much better reception than anything I've ever had-when my other phones would drop this had 2 bars). I paired it to a Plantronics 510. I got 15' range but when I took it out of range(to establish range) it would not reconnect. removed it from the phone and it still would not repair. Same problem with the Sony-Erikson HBH608. The Motorola HS850 worked...

Which phones sync with Outlook Well?

I need a phone that will sync with outlook for contacts calendar and possibly tasks. I would prefer it to be bluetooth and not a PDA. Do not want a big calculator as a phone. I see a lot of stuff out there but was surprised that Verizon had little to offer. I currently have an LG VX6100 and need something better. Any suggestions?

Can you recommend a good VZW phone with Bluetooth?

I'm looking for a new VZW phone with Bluetooth capabilities. I recently got the new Nokia 6256i and I didn't have a very good experience with it. I don't know if I just got a defective phone cuz other people seem to rave about it, but I don't know if I want to try another. The reception wasn't as good as my old Nokia w/o Bluetooth and within 3 weeks, the lighting on my keypad had completely disappeared.

Now looking for a new phone. Thinking about the Samsung SCH-A970 or LG VX-9800. Anybody have any thoughts/comments/good or bad experiences with these phones that they would like to share?? Any other VZW Bluetooth phones that you would recommend?

Thanks so much!

Report: Business, data services crucial to revenue growth

Wireless carriers will seek to generate revenue from data and business services in coming years to combat a slowdown in consumer voice subscriptions, according to IDC. The research firm is particularly bullish on the potential for enterprise market, which is expected to grow from $29 billion in 2005 to $52 billion in 2010.

compare Verizon "cdma" and Ciingular "GSM": HELP!!!!!!!!

I have the ocassion to use my cell phone in Palm Beach Florida and Falmouth Massachusetts. The reception and service on my present Cingular phone is abomidable and that includes voicemails that don't register for hours after receipt. Dead spots and the usual dropped calls. Sometimes no signal at all even when there are three bars showing! Is that the service or could it be the equipment or both?>??? I had Verizon a couple of years ago and changed because of the exact same problems. HELP!!!!!

Bluetooth capabilities of Verizon RAZR

Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock the Verizon RAZR so that you can use the bluetooth to send pictures to a a printer? I know that Bluetooth will do this but Verizon has it locked down. There has to be some way to unlock this phone's full potential.

they are all the same

analog, tdma, cdma, gsm...it's all pretty much the same. at this point you are choosing between Tide and All, Chili's or Applebee's...one may have the spicy ranch or caliente ranch, it's all a matter of taste. nevermind the commercials, survey's or third party assesments, it's all pretty much the same. don't get me wrong, one may work better for YOU than another, but if you don't live in Wayout, Wyoming...it's all the same. you are just choosing between brand names now. Good luck to you, Ma Bell is back with a vengeance

Question on Motorola V220e?

I am using a Motorola V220e on Cingular wireless and I am not happy with this model phones service and besides the Camera function just stopped working after the 13th month into a 2 year contract.
I was told that I could take out my Sim chip and transfer it to another phone .
What make & model number phone would accept my sim chip and let me donnish off my contract with Cingular. I went to the Cingular store and they wanted to sell me a brand new $200. phone and told me that I could not use a used phone.
I've seen used phones on Ebay that say they are unlocked . Would any of these work?
Thanks ,

Questions onV3c

I just purchased the Razor V3c from verizon who is my carrier and I have a few questions that I can't seem to find the answer for.
I had a LG7000 and it had a feature that would allow you to have certain ring tones or no ring tone for "no caller ID" calls, is this feature available on the V3c?
Next question is if I purchase the Moto tools, will I be able to upload my mp3 ringtones to my phone? I had heard that with verizon you couldn't.
Also, several topics have been about flashing to the alltel software, is this difficult or will it mess up the phone?

Thank you

Motorola V3 Razr, hindge coming loose

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this topic, but i figured whatever. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about motorola not covering the problem with razr hindges coming loose, for no reason other then use. I would like to know something about that, I am pretty sure there are some people out there who have a razr or had, that has had to be rplcd or has a problem like this.
