Just heard from a Sales rep that T-mobile US is comming out with the Motorola V195 on June 5th, Nokia 8801 In July and the Nokia 6030 in Sept. Is this common knowledge?

I have Verizon service and want a Blackberry. However, of all the carriers, Verizon has the worst Blackberry options. Will the 8700 series be available for Verizon any time soon ?

Totally stoked about the 700p! Couldn't deal with the glitches with Windows Mobile (not trying to knock it...it will be good eventually). So, the treo 700p is posted on just about every wireless site talking about it being released "in a few weeks". Does anyone have a fairly firm date for its arrival on Verizon's network? Thanks to all!

Saw some blurbs on the net recently and want to know more about this upcoming phone from Nokia. (google "nokia n83"... it's freakin' hot!) Looks like I'll have to save up my pennies for this one!

Ok, so I'm getting a little tired of the "is there any hope for " threads. If anyone is hoping for some miraculous event to create the perfect wireless carrier, it ain't gonna happen!

There is no hope for any carrier. Change from the top down is rarely as effective as change from the bottom up. Real change will only be effected by a specific segment of the customer market who will drive that change.

Hey, I used to work for T-Mobile, and here's some inside info:
1. Smart Access: Thank God they are throwing away the ignorant Smart Access Rate Plan, which was meant to "increase" subscribers for shareholders, but that plan was so retarded, because 75% of those consumers would never pay their bills. BTW, Smart Access is a rate plan for people with no credit or bad credit. This rate plan would cut off your cellphone if you went over $150.00 on your bill, and it restricted the rate plan options to only 1000 minutes.

2. If you live outside a metropolitan area, do not get T-Mobile, especially Blackberry's, Siemens and Sony Ericssons...

A while ago I thought I read about an upcoming release of a newer version of the LGVX 8100--supposedly thinner and better camera. Now I cannot find any information on this. Does anyone know what I am referring to?

i want to get a v3c but dont want to switch carriers, i wonder if anyone knows anyhing if qwest will be carrying that phone. i have untill october to decide as that is when i will be upgrade eligible, otherwise, does anyone have any advice what other phones i could consder that would be comparable?

Does ne body know if verizon is going to have nights start earlier? And any hot new phones for Q2?

Will phonescoop have any info on this phone anytime soon or is it still just a "rumor"??

I purchased an unlocked Black V3 in November '05. I started having problems with it in January. The speaker started distorting likeit was cracked, the Bluetooth connection would drop frequently, the phone would turn off and reboot in mid conversation and, of course, because it was an unlocked Cingular branded phone and I am using it on SunCom, the browser would never work. I sent it in to Motorola in February and they returned it "supposedly" repaired but it was damaged by thier technician who did the "repair". The front display was scratched from underneath and the houseing was scratched as well and they sent it back locked. On Saturday and sunday of this week when i looked at the Home page for phone scoop there was an article listed about a new service that's going to be available from Bravo. The article said that it was speculated to be called "gaydar" and that it would include taking a picture of someone and sending it to the number "gaydar" and them processing it and sending you a reply to tell you if that person in the picture is gay or straight. Does anyone know what happened to that article and any other info related to this? please reply

Has anyone heard about this? I have tried searching on Google, Ask Jeeves and Lycos and can't find any further information. Apparently its doing really well in Korea and LG are gonna be bringing it to the UK.

I talked to Metro PCS representatives about a week ago when I was going get a different phone. I was told I should wait a week later when they would be receiving the Moto Razr phones for $350. So I waited only to find out yesterday that the phone has been postponed until may supposedly. WTF is going on...
