Anyone notice that on every graphic Moto released, the date 11/10/06 is displayed somewhere on the phone's screen? Is this purely accidental or is there some historical significance for Moto and 11/10? Could it be that they just subtly leaked the release date?

I know that Verizon will be coming to Oklahoma within the next 6 months, and was wondering whether it was from building out their network or from an acquisition of another carrier?

My picks:

1.) Motorola 2297 "Shark"-Also known as the "peanut" phone. This baby had three rechargable triple a batteries powering it that provided about 3 minutes of talk time. That is, when you could stay on network long enough to actually make a call. Worthless.
2.) Kyocera KX-16 "Candid"-What happened Kyo? You used to be a fine CDMA player, and now you're reduced to shelling out crap and providing even worse warranty service after the sale to back up your product. Battery life=worthless. Quality=non existant. Great job!

Anyone have any news on these phones (these are codenames for them). I have just seen some bad, blurry pictures of these and was wondering if anyone had the specs on them.

At a TMobile kiosk, the rep suggested that TMobile was upgrading their 39.99 plan with 1500 anytime minutes because they heard that verizon was upgrading their 39.99 plan from 450 anytime minutes to 1000 anytime minutes. Can someone confirm this????

Hello, I know some of you US Cellular customers are wondering about the upcoming price plans that they have been promising for quite sometime now. Let me help. Although USCC is not to choosey about some of their employees, especially the ones in the supervisor positions, The business concept is right on. Customer is # one. So allow me to help w/ the anticipation, being one that has been through the new price plan training and no longer employed by them I have no problem w/ giving you this info. 1st the prices are going up. But features like Nights & weekends are going to be added for free. here is how it breaks down to the best of my ability to remember this since they did not let us leave w/ any of the info.

Anyone here of this. Read it in Business Week a few weeks back. Sounds like they might do this to lower international roaming rates.

So my brother-in-law's brother, who i see very frequently, works for Verizon. He isnt just a store salesman though, he does something important, not sure what though. 😛. Anyway I was telling him how i wanted to get a new cell phone. I asked what i should get and he said wait till about august. He said they will be getting a new Samsung which is supposed to be very good. 3pnt summin megapixel camera and a display resolution better or as good as the Q. He said this is the only phone he as really been exicted for. Thought you guys might like to hear this. And sry if this is all old news.

I heard rumors that near the end of summer/ early fall there will be a new Q introducted the is not a wide and have some upgrades. Anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I am currently getting ready to switch from nextel to verizon. I'm having a hard time choosing between the Q and the 700P. Any suggestions? 😕

Has anyone heard if Verizon will be coming out with any new phones this year besides the 9800 with a Qwerty keyboard. I like the Samsung D307 (Cingular)and was wondering if Verizon will be making one that is compatible to that. It is a clamshell phone that opens to a Qwerty keyboard. I currently have the LGVX 6000 which I love....but it is getting old. I do a lot of text messaging and am interested in the Qwerty keyboard. I was looking at the 9800 and the only thing that I am not crazy about is that I like the flip models of phones. I hate having to lock and unlock the keys for use. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
