I'm on alltel and am looking to get a new phone. I've been looking at the Kyocera SoHo KX1. I live several of its features but I worry about its reception in rural areas.

Anybody have any feedback?

Or if you know of a better phone let me know

Was told about this earlier today. Supposed to be coming to the US later this year. Anyone know if this is true and if this phone existed what the practical purpose for it would be?

A moto i830 was left in my office for several months now & no one has been in to claim it.

I was looking at those 6305i's from Nokia they looked cool.

I was also looking into a Q but I kind of want to maybe wait til the end of the summer to get another phone.

This time around I'm looking for a slider or pda type phone because I'm bored of the flip ones.

I'm want to upgrade my phone to the Samsung D807, but I want to get some input on what everyone thinks about it. So, let me know if you think it would be a good choice or not...this will be my first Samsung. I'm carrying a SE Z520a currently. Thanks!! 😁

Does anyone know when/if Cingular (or someone else) might be getting the HP 6915,
I'm with Sprint and am tired of my Treo...thinking of switching to Cingular if they get the 6915...

Yesterday I went to Compusa because I'm searching for a PDA with a keyboard and since I really like the treo (despite all it's problems) I thought about asking if there would be a 700p for gsm carriers such as cingular.

The guy at the store told me that palm is going to lunch a newer one called 720p with wi fi and bluetooth integrated. This sounds too good to be true and maybe the guy was just making fun of me, so can anybody share their knowledge about the subject?

Many different sites are saying the launch date is June 26th, while some people are saying July 10th. We already see celebrities with the Sidekick 3. So, which date is correct, and how long does T-Mobile usually wait to launch the Sidekick's once the celebrities have them in hand?

Is there any chance that the motorola Q or somthing better is coming to Cingular and there 3G network?

I know Wal-Mart started selling Verizon INPulse, but I received a new Wal-Mart ad the other day, and it listed the VX-8100 on a post pay plan for $48.88 starting June 19. 😲 Is this going on at Wal-Marts everywhere?! And is it because RadioShacks don't carry their service anymore? I was completely devastated when I read this ad and I hope to GOD it's not true...Anyone else heard anything about this?!

I just saw the LG's new Korean DMB phone called "lb1500", and I really really want that phone. I like it a lot. I also like the Chocolate phone (Black Label 2), but lb1500 looks like it's really cool phone.

Anyways, anybody has any idea or rumor about this phone? I can wait until the end of this year or maybe spring of next year, but I'm not sure if this phone will come out in US or not.

Will Sprint be coming out with a new Blackberry soon to replace the 7250. I don't understand why they are so back level in technology and only offer the 7250.

This is not about the phone itself, but about the scams out there offering a "free" phone (or other commodity) for simply filling out a bogus "survey." These seemingly "free" phone questionaires aren't free, and should be against the law. Furthermore, we should be threatening to boycott Motorola, Wal-Mart, Chili's and others who allow their products or services to be used as lures. One of the worst offenders is = 👿 OnlineRewards.com = but they are by no means alone in this fraud. Beware. Your e-mail box will load up with endless amounts of spam (and your phone will never stop ringing, if you were foolish enough to give them that information too), but you will NEVER see that free phone.

Does anybody know when Verizon will be releasing their new ptt service I think it is going to be (EV-DO) not (1X). Please correct me if I am wrong with the standards. One of the managers in a local Verizon store said within a couple of months, another phone rep said perhaps by the end of the year. In my opinion it could be out tomorrow and they wouldn't know. I only say that because when companies switched from analog to digital, I had went into a local Verizon store and asked them when they were releasing digital since AT&T already released theirs, they said they didn't know, later that day I switched to AT&T, 2 days later Verizon released their digital phones. So if anybody knows anything please let me know.
