VZ Access Manager disconnecting me when I play games

When I play certain games and I am connected to the internet VZ Access Manager disconnects within 10-30 seconds and won't let me reconnect saying the modem is in use or has a problem with it or some such BS.

I have to reset my computer then I can load VZAM back up and reconnect ( and it stupidly asks me what location this is home, bussiness etc ).

I called verizon tech support and they said they had never heard of this problem ( ya right ).

It happens very consistantly. Everytime I play certain games ( might and magic vi, might and magic ix, age of wonders, arcanum ) it disconnects me.

My acer laptop is running windows vista with a fresh reformat about 2 weeks ago. The game might and magic vi I have had for years and I run it...

I need your technical help...

Hello everyone~

Here's my situation - I have a proprietary tech product that I am planning on introducing to the cellular phone market and I need some help. This is not a gimmick - I think this would be a great product, but I need some technical help.

I have the basics figured out, but I want to talk with someone who has professional, top-level knowledge of cell phone architecture/software/hacking and general hardware, ideally across multiple carriers. I'm not looking for someone to share any industry secrets, just someone who knows the industry and wouldn't mind lending some serious knowledge.

This is a real opportunity and would include the signing of a confidentiality agreement and potential reimbursement for your time and experi...

Using a Razr V3m tethered to Alltel ..outwest

This is my only source for any type internet except for dial up,, I have been using this service a month now and have problems ''hooking up'' to the tower (I think). i do have a weak signal, 1 to 1 1/2 bars,, sometimes a page just won't download, sometimes i can be ripping right along and all of a sudden it just slows down and then stops loading a page at all.
My question is does the tower put my data signal on the side when cell traffic is high,?? is the problem in my software,?? the software was $70.00 bucks from alltel, will a amp/booster help me blast thru the traffic??
The service is dyno-mite when i hook up and all is well, $25.00 a MO. unlimited,,it is way faster than the old dial up,,I am out in rural NW NEW mexico, and i h...

>$45,000 for ATT Laptop connect, $60 unlimited data service

After 6 weeks in Dalhart TX, my data bill was > $18,623 due to roaming calls made from an international location, PA, USA.
ATT said computer error has causes excessive billing, PA is still covered as a state withing US of A & included in my national unlimited data access account for $60 per month. ATT said do not pay bill, it has been sent for correction, to ATT HQ, Atlanta, GA USA.
Trace routes done from North TX, OK & AR all show ATT routes my packets from those states to NJ, onto Internet in NJ, then to destination. Trace route also shows 300 mS for many hops, many lost packets & many hops not responsive. At house in AR, service continues to max at 23 KB/S, oftern down to 0.8 K bytes per second, so I suppose my packets are still goin...

InfoRad eText & VZW - Help

I use a product called eText from InfoRad which is a desktop application that allows me to send SMS to a variety of wireless users. I never had any problems sending Verizon users SMS messages until a few days ago.

The software logs on to VZW using the E-mail server smtpsp.vtext.com and SMTP protocol.

Does anyone know if VZW changed anything on their end? All other services (Sprint, ATT, etc) are still accepting messages from my software so I know that isn't the issue.

Thanks,
Marc

T-moble SDA Internet Connection

I gots a question...

Can I use my SDA to connect my laptop to the internet? If so, how is it done? AND here's the kicker... I use T-Zones to connect to the internet on the SDA (It's rare and I have a wifi connection around me most of the time so I don't see the point in subscribing to their internet package for $30 a month when I would rarely use it). But if I'm in a pinch and I need (more like WANT since "I need" makes me sound like some nerd who has no life) to get my computer online and there's not a connection anywhere, can I use the SDA with T-Zones to connect?

Or do I need to use their internet package for that? Cause that might be a good idea just for vacations and stuff where the hotel might make you pay for the internet. $1 ...
