Worst Cell Phone Carrier

Who do gets your vote for being the worst carrier? I vote for Cellular One. They have spotty coverage at best, $20 per month per line early termination fees, weak features, and no concept of customer service.

these are the two people i've talked to today

one lady was upgrading... she asked me how to lock the keys on it (which is weird since it's a flip, but whatever) because she doesn't want her BABY to accidentally press buttons when she lets him play with it... i immediately offered her insurance which she declined... 😳

the next girl was talking on her red chocolate and was whispering questions to me as to not disrupt her phone conversation (people who do this anywhere should be shot)... when people do this i carry on as usual like they're not on the phone and ask them questions, so finally she tells her friend she'll call them back... she throws the chocolate down and says "look, i've had this phone since February and i'm just tired of looking it, everyone in my school has it (*said...

yay! i already got yelled at before i even opened

when I arrived at my kiosk this morning there was already a couple waiting... (i got here at 9:40 and the mall opens at 10)

Posting this in this forum only in hopes that someone can help!!!!!!!

Sent a phone to Nokia for repair in January. I called to do a follow up after 4-6 weeks. The rep I spoke with said that since the phone was not in stock to do a replacement, they would be sending a check for the pro-rated value of the phone. Told me it would take 7-8 weeks to receive it. Well that time passed and still hadn't received anything. So I called back. This time to find out they went ahead and shipped a replacement phone. Well guess what......the phone don't work!!!!!!!!!! It wouldn't register or activate on the Verizon network as it was not being recognized as a GPS compliant phone. So I called Nokia again. They tell me to send the phone back with a letter regarding what happened. Which I did. Last Saturday, I got a letter from No...

Your Phone has Moisture Damage!

I hate when i have to deal with cuts with this!

C: my phone is broken
m: whats wrong with it
c: it does not charge
M: see this dot its red this means Moisture damage
C: what does that mean
M: you have gotten your phone wet at some point in the past
C: thats not possible! how could this happen?

me: thinking (_ Um do i follow you on a day to day basis? how the f**k would i know)

C: well how much to replace
m: used, pre, retail, ebay blah
C: this is bull you guys just make these so they get affected by the humidity?
C: WE don't make them and i get no pay on used, etc

Then they get mad at me because they are 9 days in there agree and they have no insurance, or they have insurance and there a deductible. them call me a smart...

Another great day at work...

The AC is broke at work and its 85 degrees in here. Add that to the fact that we have been packed all day and the owner was observing our sales techniques equals another great day at work. 🙄

why not?

A girl came by this afternoon to swap phone books from a VZ phone to a USCC phone. She wanted it free of charge. I'm a VZ agent.

How dumb did she think we (and the other stores she's gone to) are? You cancelled service with us, still have the expensive (pink chocolate) phone, and wonder why we would CHARGE for something you can do yourself but are too lazy to do?

I got a call today from a lady who was reporting her phone stolen, it has been missing for a week.She wanted to get it replaced thru the insurance, when i looked at her account she did not have a phone listed on the account.I looked in the history and it seems that a store rep put dummy equipment on her account on May 16.When i did a search for her phone that had been taken off, it seems that a store rep had activated her phone onto another persons account on the same day it was replaced with dummy equipment.I dont believe that the customer was aware of this...i do believe that this is illegal...

Is this unethical?

I just had a custy who had gone over her minutes. It wasn't by much (less than $20), but she wanted to get on a lower plan because she couldn't afford the plan she was on with the overage.

After about ten minute of trying to explain how that would cost her more, I finally just said I wouldn't do it and she'd have to call CS for it. Should I have changed the plan even though it's going to cost her more minutes (and no she wasn't going to cut down on talking, she's been in here every month since she got the phone).

It's always the people who say "I've been with you blah blah blah years!" that get weird about signing a new contract with an upgrade or a new line?

my favorites are the people who have been with T-Mobile for 15 years!

haha sorry we haven't been around that long and yelling doesn't get you free blueteefs or blueberries

Porting fun!

My co-worker has been working with a lady for about half a hour now, she is porting her number. I heard my co-worker ask her if she was out of contract, the customer said yes. So they proceeded. After everything had gone completely through the system the customer says, "Oh my contract is up tomorrow."

What?? What the hell is wrong with you? We ask that question for a reason. Not just to entertain ourselves. It isn't our fault that you didn't listen to our question. You did this to yourself. And I can just see her expecting us to get her out of this. She is on the phone with her old service provider to try and resolve it. Now my co-worker is calling the port center to fix it. Good luck.

She is stupid as hell.
