Why do I have to tell you how to do your JOB?

OK, you might be new, I don't know, i don't care. If a customer is claiming to have made a payment; but you can't find it, DO NOT CALL SALES AND ASK US WHAT YOU SHOULD DO ๐Ÿ‘ฟ !!!!!!

and if the rep doesn't know how to do your job, don't ask for there sup. I understand your a moron, thats why you have a supervisor. use them to hold your hand, not me.

we don't collect payments, we don't process payments, we don't have full account access.

My reps are paid on a FE conversion as well as an hourly rate. they do not need you dumb ass calling them and wasting time that they could be processing a sale and keeping there percentage within our target range. Wanna Hear Some BS?

The state of Florida sued AT&T over 3rd party download charges...AND WON! WTF!?! Because people are too stupid to read the fine print on the computer or TV screen, AT&T will have to dish out more than $10 million. How is that fair? On top of that, "Florida's attorney general has flat-out admitted that they went after AT&T only because the actual offenders -- the fly-by-night shops operating the free ringtone schemes -- were too difficult to round up and sue." How the hell is that fair?

It's like if I were to buy a Playstation 3 on eBay and it turned out to be broken. Then, Instead of contacting and / or suing the eBay user I bought it from, I would sue Sony.

Had this college kid yesterday....

Came in to get his insurance replacement activated. His name not on account so, I directed him right to the 800# and told him to get the info from daddy. Well, he asked if he could use my phone here because he doesn't have a landline in his dorm room. Sure whatever...I hook him up. After him not calling his dad for the info, he was on the phone for 20 mins with this rep to get it all taken care of by the time they played phone tag back and forth and finally got dad's last 4 of ss#. Finally kid gets off phone and says very loudly in front of my other 6 customers "I (expletive deleted)'n HATE VERIZON WIRELESS"

I stopped what I was doing, looked at him and said "Excuse me?"

He looked back at me really scared. Like he just expected ...

Upgrade

Why is it that people come in 2-3 weeks prior to their upgrade eligibility and say "I know I'm not eligible yet, but can we do it early?" Then i'm stuck with the response of "No, You're not eligible yet (Remember, you told me that when you came through my door). They won't let me process the upgrades even (in most cases) a day early."

Then they proceed to get all crappy with me. Trust me man, if it was up to me I'd gladly make the sale now instead of 2-3 weeks from now, but my Credit department won't approve it. And even if they did approve it, under the agreement my store has with VZW if it's not done on or after the actual eligibility date, we don't get paid. So Yes, if you want the crappy Moto Q, pay $400 today.

This Friday is my last day working for "Big Red"!!!

Starting monday i'll be working for an AT&T indirect agent. So is there anything I speacial i should know. Have I made the right decision in your opinions. I'm mainly leaving because the comission structure with AT&T indirect is much better than the pay structure with the curent VZW indirect I work for now.

Which wireless carrier do you work for? and why? I work for Sprint retentions and I chose to work for Sprint because the pay me more than ATT (when it was Cingular) did. I live in VA and the cost of living is high, so I needed a higher paying job. WhenI was working for ATT, it was the actual ATT call center it was West Corporation (third party call center) that didn't pay much and I couldn't find a call center near me for ATT and the Verizon call center that is in driving distance is third party also and they don't pay much...I love working for Sprint and working in the wireless world. I would work for any carrier if they paid me good anyway.

Things on my mind

Now that I have an actual forum to voice things in among those who do the same thing I do, I feel the need to get some things off my chest. For those who dont work in the wireless industry, read and absorb.

First and foremost, every wireless carrier out there has their ups and downs and issues. No one of them is perfect, Sprint included (which I work for). Secondly, I do not own a Cellphone, nor will I ever. o.-

With that said, i've seen much bashing of Sprint and how evil and awful it is. I think a large part of that has come from customers becoming spoiled, especially on the lower end of the Sprint customer base. On that thread, let me cover some things that should be said to customers but rarely are:

I just had a guy come up and ask if our kiosk carries screwdrivers. And in the middle of writing this a lady came up and asked why she couldn't pay her Verizon bill here. I work for AT&T.

Still no Episode 6 yet!

I have been taking a little mini-break from all the online with VW episodes up to this point but I smell a return on the horizon! Either that or the guy standing next to me forgot to shower. Well since I have not had a chance to humor you all with my online episodes lately I will give you an idea for a prank if you work in a retail store. This is my alltime favorite!

why do cust care reps

tell customers that they will give them a rate plan lower than what our lowest is, and then tell them to go to the store to set it up??

our lowest plan is $39.99/mo, if thats too much for you, then you dont really need a cell phone that bad. gawd. i got her signed up for the 39.99, but now i know shes going to be calling in every month asking for credits left and right, but its not my problem now right?
