TREO 600 or PDA Phone?

Does Verizon ever intend on coming out with the TREO 600 or some other PDA phone that is not outdated and compact? I have had every other service out there and Verizon is definitely best but their phones are so far behind the times. Any insight?

lg4500

Just wanted to say that in my opinion this phone is very good. Long battery life, very user friendly, and a nice bright 65K colorful screen. Everyone says that the speaker can not be used when phone is closed...not the case. Just put it to auto answer and on driving mode and it will pick up automatically and the speaker will be going while it is closed. Can't make a call when closed but still quite an awesome little phone.

SCAM

MAJOR SCAM:
Don't respond to Emails, phone calls, or web pages which tell you to call
an "809" area Phone Number.

This is a very important issue of Scam Busters because it alerts you to a
scam that is spreading *extremely* quickly, can easily cost you $2400 or
more, and is difficult to avoid unless you are aware of it.

We'd like to thank Verizon for bringing this scam to our attention.

This scam has also been identified by the National Fraud Information
Center and is costing victims a lots of money.

There are lot of different permutations of this scam.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

You will receive a message on your answering machine or your pager, which
asks you to call a number beginning with area cod...

Honest opinion

I'm currently using the 4400 and I'm eligible for an upgrade. The Audiovox 8900 looks pretty cool, as does the 4500. I'm very partial to LG phones and I'm really picky about my phones. For any of you who sell Verizon Wireless phones, rep to rep, what is the feedback that you've gotten on the 8900? I'm very sketchy about making the change because I love my 4400. I appreciate your help!

Billing question

I just received a bill for over calls dating back a month and a half. VZW rep said that happens when the towers don't send the information right away. Could this be possible, or am I just being screwed.

VX6000

Can anyone tell me if you can set it to beep continuosly until you clear the phone when you have a voicemail, or if you have missed a call. I have a customer that states that you can, and he wants it turned on. I have been all over the place in the manual, and on the manufatures website, and it does not state that you can or can not do this feature.

Testing?

How long does it take to test a phone for VZW? It appears that most phones have some issues when they are released after their long test period. The T720 i am fully aware of, I still have this pile of junk and can't wait for the new phones to be released especially the CDM 9900.

A530: Disappointing UI

I went to a Verizon store and played around with the Samsung A530 today, and I must say that I was sorely disappointed by its phone book interface. It was small and cool, but man, I don't think I'd be able to deal with that system. Are there settings you can change? I don't like how it shows the entry number and how it doesn't let you pick the number from the root menu. I guess they figure people will just search, but that's really kind of a bulky method for people with fewer contacts. The VX6000's system is pretty good, but the phone's quite a bit larger than the A530.

My 2-year-old Kyocera 2235, though, takes them both to school in terms of a solid phone book. So, cheers to Kyocera!

Anyway, my 2 years expires in March, so I guess I'l...

New Plans - Confusing???

Does anyone think that at a consumer level that these plans are really confusing? I understand them, but I am sure the elder generation will not, or someone that is just entering the cellular market.

Audiovox 8900 - Circuit City expected arrival date?

Hello!

Does anyone know the date Circuit City should be expecting to receive the Audiovox 8900's? We went to the local one last night and they were saying probably within the month (even have a spot for it on the shelf).

Just wanted to see if anyone here and any other information. I know Verizon stores have it in stock now, but CC deals a much better on the phones.

Thanks!

world phone/service

🤭
okay. i'm currently a faithful verizon subscriber in the seattle market and have been for years because of their superior service over all other carriers (yes, i've tried them all!). my only gripe with verizon is the usual and main one that people complain about; them having the WORST selection of phones in the whole industry. i'm sure verizon knows this but probably doesn't give a sh*t. anyways, i travel a lot and thought it would be nice to take my mobile with me as i travel but guess what?! verizon is useless international! what are my options guys? i don't wanna drop verizon as my primary carrier and loathe the idea of signing on with another carrier like cingular just so i can take it with me. any input on whether cdma wi...

I saw a new Audiovox camera phone on the website over the weekend but it's gone now

I was paying my wireless bill on the VZ web site Saturday.

Since my phone is 2 years old I was looking for a new phone. I had already heard about the LX6000 and then saw an Audiovox camera phone.

Now I didn't pay too much attention to the model number (it's in my history page on home computer) but I did do a compare against the 6000.

It didn't list any movie camera capability just regular pictures.

I went to the website today for my area code and the Audiovox isn't listed anymore.

New Palm OS phone offered soon?

I'd like to get a Palm OS from VSW like the Samsung i500 or Treo 600. I think the Samsung i600 and Kyocera are too big. Any info on if these phones may be offered soon?
