ATT:DENVER!!!

Well to me a cell phone can be used in taking those sub-par, low resolution, poor quality pictures. Im at college...enough said...so go live your above-par, high standard, high quality life with out a camera phone, and see how much we all care 😉

Audiovox 8900 is back!

I really like the look of the 8900 but am a little scared of the recall issue. I have read all the reviews and it seems that this phone is getting a bad rap. I live in the DC area and want this phone, can anyone tell me if it is worth the risk or should i just play it safe and get the lg6000?

When will VZW get the slider?

Does anyone know when Verizon Wireless is getting the Kyocera SE47/V5 Slider??? The phone scoop info shows the phone as being tentative. No one at my local Verizon store knows anything about it.

Thanks,

Must...get...new...phoneee

I am starting to get impatient with VZW... my 2 year contract was up 2 months ago and I'm still sitting here waiting for Verizon to catch up with the Technology... I'm getting the run around with the Audi 8900 with the bugs and the Samsung a610...to me personally is gonna be horrific... does any one know release dates for these phones or no? Also is their any news on a nice new Cam phone that will be worth the 2 yr contract? Thanks 🙄

I still have 5 dyas left to change this, so wanted some input on this.Would it have been better to sign the 2year and get a better phone like a530 for 40 bucks, or stay with the 1 year and paid 100 dollars for the Moto v60s

CDM 8900 Availability for NY!!

I just spoke to a customer service rep at Audiovox and she stated that the 8900 will be back in Verizon stores starting tomorrow, 1/14/03. If they actually are is another story.

WAP 2.0 (again)

I posted this in "Development" as well. Don't flame me. I really want an answer.

--------------------------------------------- --

Let's say that I have a single-band 800MHz 1xEV-DO CDMA phone that has WAP 2.0 and Java.

and lets say that the only carrier that I can activate it on in my area is VZW.

and lets also say that I have all the required information (IPs and stuff) that I need to get it activated.

what would be the best way to get this phone to connect to the data network?

I'm assuming that all I would need to do is get a network connection, ANY connection, because after that, its all just a basic connection which allows me to transmit and receive any data, just like the 1xRTT PC cards and the PDA phones. 1xEV-DO ...

Verizon Push to talk

Has any one heard when Verizon will be coming out with a new push to talk phone. I heard Verizon was tentative with a Samsung model. And possibly a Motorola, just curios on some makes and models as I am in the market for a new phone and have been patiently waiting on a new color push to talk phone from Verizon since early August.

Thanks,

Chris

Does anyone know any websites that provide free downloadable ringtones and games for verizon wireless. I am tired of paying the outrageous prices to download one game on the "Get it Now" feature on my phone. thanx

Question

🙄

I am in search of a device that I can hook my VX4400 to, and connect it to a cordless landline phone. I seen this on TV the other day on the news, and I have tried to contact the news channel, but I have not had any luck.

THe news channel said it would run about $60.00 but no one in the Toledo, Ohio area sells them yet.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? It is the size of a cordless phone base, and your cellular phone sits inside the base, and you are able to use your cellular airtime minutes, but carry your conversations on your cordless phone that is connected to your cellular phone.
