Phone Upgrade
Hey all
I am now contemplating purchase of a new phone as I am due for an upgrade now without the NE2 discount (I am due that in August of this year). I am toying around with the Droid RAZR Maxx or perhaps the Droid 4. Anyhoo do you all think I should upgrade now? I mean your all gonna say it's up to me and what I wanna do however I hate this phone I am now (Droid X), its served its purpose but I think it's time to upgrade...One of those phones looks like a big enough screen too for my big hands.

when is ICS upgrade coming to older phones?
I have the Incredible 2 and have heard that it will eventually be upgraded to ICS. I wonder if there is any buzz yet as to when Verizon will make this available? Hopefully it will come before early 2013 when I'll be eligible for a new phone 🙂

Texting phone
I am coming to Verizon at the end of this month and need a phone that is good for texting. I prefer a real qwerty keyboard, a la a slider but am open to your ideas. This will be a temporary phone as I will be getting the next iPhone. So thank you for your help. FINALLY coming to the big red V! 😁

Verizon makes Store reps do this!!!!!
Verizon wants all the sales reps to sell ALL Smartphones, if we don’t we get pulled in the back and the manager asks why we just old a basic phone, because reps have to have a high Smartphone mix.
Why reps ask if you want 5 accessories with your phone is because if the sales reps dose not they get pulled in the back and the manager tells them that is not good enough. Because the company marks them up so high that they make a lot off them

Determining Your Upgrade Discount
I am due for an upgrade in August of this year. Now I can buy now at a discounted rate however Verizon's site says if I wait til August 12th I can upgrade with loyalty discounts...Anyone know how much that might be or how I can figure it out?

Does anyone think by the time the GSIII comes to Verizon that Verizon and ISIS will be prepared to start marketing mobile payment, and Verizon will get Samsung to include NFC in the GSIII?

Webpage resizing
Why can't all Android phones re size web pages like the HTC Rezound does? 🤨
I've recently had RAZR MAXX, Skyrocket S 2, and Rezound. And of course the iPhone 4S.
The iPhone has the 'reader' feature with 2 text sizes which is pretty nice. Then I got the Rezound and you could zoom it'd re size and wrap the text, zoom again, even bigger and it'd re size and wrap, and you could continue that. VERY NICE!
Samsung, double tap and well I guess it's better than nothing. And Motorola's idea of enlarge and text wrap, pretty much useless.
So I guess this feature is manufacture based, since between the 3 Android devices they seem to handle text wrap differently.

Hi, This is the first time I have joined a forum, so... bare with me!
And if anyone can help me decide on a phone.
I have the Droid X for a year 1/2 now. And my birthday is Tuesday, and I think I am getting a new phone. My friend has the Nexus and he loves it. I think and would like the Droid Maxx! Im reading review, back and forth, and going and reading thru the CONS, someone said that with the Galaxy Nexus "Inability to add ringtones???" God does that mean that any of my music that I download I canNOT use a song from my list as a ringtone!?!?! What does it mean? Cuz if I cant use a song from my own music list that is NO good! That's huge for me! I love using my own music! So someone help me with that question.

I was reading forum postings about preferred screen size on phandroids website, a few people made mention of the GNexus. Can someone share their thoughts about what it's like going from a 4.3in smartphone, to the 4.7in Galaxy Nexus? Is the overall size all that noticeable?

Problems with my Razr Maxx
Phone is two days old and sound stopped working for no reason. I have done a factory reset and even downloaded and installed the software update ! The phone is set as loud as it goes. Anyone else has this problem ? Is there a fix or is just a DOA Phone?

iMessage, is VZW charging for these?
Is Verizon dinging you for iMessages? 🤨 I recently went over my messaging amount, so I bumped up my message plan. Went back and viewed my messages and there the regular texts are listed as 'domestic message', MMS are listed as well. And then the iMessages are listed but under type of message is blank. But the to/from numbers are listed and they're counted towards my total. I thought iMessages bypassed the carrier and were free?
