Texting phone
I am coming to Verizon at the end of this month and need a phone that is good for texting. I prefer a real qwerty keyboard, a la a slider but am open to your ideas. This will be a temporary phone as I will be getting the next iPhone. So thank you for your help. FINALLY coming to the big red V! 😁

Since you'll be buying a used phone to avoid having to dish out full retail for the next iPhone, I'd recommend finding an LG Env 2 or 3 in decent shape, or an LG Octane. They would be good for about six months or so. You won't want to buy one of the newer models unless they're used or refurbished to avoid the contract. Unless you enjoy paying $650 for the base iPhone when the fifth model comes out.
