Ive been eligible to upgrade my phone (Droid X) for a few months now. I am so ready to get rid of this phone, Ive had so much trouble with it lately and dont know how much longer I can live with it. I am contemplating about purchasing the IPhone 4S or should I wait a BIT longer for the Samsung Galaxy IIIS? What are your thoughts or advice? Thanks...

I got a new hotspot from Wirefly because I was assured by
local Verizon store I now had 4G service. I only ever got 3G so I called Verizon, they assured me I should be getting 4G and that the device must be defective to I sent it back for replacement. By the time I got the second one the 2 week
return window was past. The second hotspot only got 3G also, I called and finally I was told I do not have 4G in my area.
If I had known earlier I could have simply returned the first one within the 2 weeks. Now Verizon is going to charge me the $275 penalty fee. I protested up to 3 levels but they refuse to take off the charge. Should I go to small claims court to fight it? I only got it because I wanted the 4G service, I get 3G service fine...

I think my city (Enumclaw) only has 4G service from Sprint. Per my cousin, this Fall a major consumer agency is coming to our area for their annual service testing. I assume that means that Verizon and AT&T be offering 4G service very soon? I think either would be better than Sprint buy maybe I’m wrong. Anyway to find out before I commit to a contract?

If you please, what is Verizon policy on this? While it is on my mind, how can a non-account holder access the account over the phone?

While I do not have Verizon, I do need to do business with them. The basic reason should be obvious.

So I keep reading that Verizon is doing away with Unlimited Data for people that were grandfathered in, which is the situation I'm in. Did they make a final decision on this?

I am going to upgrade before they get rid of the unlimited data plan. I would like to know what is or what will be the best 4g phone out there. I will be upgrading at the end of the month. I do not like Motorola, but could give them a shot. Have had Dinc 2 for about a year now and I am happy with HTC. thanks.

Any thoughts? All I can find is that they have the same processor/ram/MP cameras/graphics chip. Spectrum has bigger screen and rezound comes with beats audio. no led on the spectrum which sucks, but there are apps to fix that. More internal memory on Rezound.

Im leaning towards LG on this one because it is less expensive. Ive heard UI is better on the rezound, but Im not too worried about it because all that can be fixed with a custom rom.

Any thoughts one way or the other? Both seem like they are top of the line phones with the rezound being slightly better in some areas. The main things im concerned about is processor and ram. Currently on the revolution, came from the dx2. I can definitely tell the difference between the dual core v...

Is having a cellphone a right or privilege? I've heard a lot of talk and discussion lately about changes that may or may not be coming. There are many consumers that feel they have a right of entitlement. Honestly I'm getting sick of hearing it.

Both me & my friend are having our 4g speeds throttled by verizon. We live just south of Atlanta anfd the past couple of months have used 20 gigs of data. I pay for the mobile hotspot option.

Anyone know where to get some without contract for a less crazy price? I want the razr, but dont want to pay 600 if I can help it. Ebay and Craigslist are out of the question. Anyone had any luck in the past? If so what sites?

I bought the Galaxy Nexus, and while the display is BEAUTIFUL and IceCream Sandwitch is the most amazing thing. The signal sucks. I've dropped 12 calls. no date 6 or 7 times.

Do you REALLY think that any update will fix the signal? I need a strong performer when it comes to signal and this is letting me down.

I had a blackberry 8330 that my friend gave me when my LG POS died....and I never dropped calls on that....

What should I do?

Do you know if Verizon makes public it's 4G deployment schedule? I live along a major corridor and there's 4G 30 miles north and south, but still only 3G in my burg. I'm wondering when they're going to close the gap 🙂

I've had an upgrade available on my account since OCT 2010.... Its not that I don't want a new phone.

I upgraded to the RAZR for a week and was very unimpressed with battery, camera, and screen resolution/quality - Unfortunately returned. And while my friend was vacationing in EUROPE I used her HTC Rezound and it has an amazing screen but because of SENSE it was laggy TO ME... I know you can root etc..but Im really not into it. And I used a friends Samsung Original Galaxy S too, and the signal strength sucks a$$.

I have a blackberry 8330 which is a complete P.O.S. but still works...

Should I get the galaxy nexus? I need something with STRONG signal strength as I live in a basement. I get 2 - 3 bars on my 8330..I didn't live here...

...anyone know if Verizon's got some Windows phones in the pipeline. I really like the HTC Radar--but it's been out over a year.

Can't wait! No more rumors, just official specs! I already checked Amazon to see if Otter box supports the GS2, and they do, so likely Otter box will support the GS3 also!!! Didn't look like there were many colors to choose from though. I like bright blue!!!
I just hope Samsung doesn't ruin the GS3 by making the battery non-removable!!! That would be extremely dissapointing!!!

Does anyone have any idea as to when this phone is coming to Verizon?
