I've been with Helio for about 4 months or so and have to say that the Heat and Helio's customer service is a joke. I'm going on my third Heat right now, and am probably just going to cancel my contract and go elsewhere.

For starters, the phone is absolute garbage. The text messaging is on par with the worst I've used. Overall, te software feels like it was written by a third grader.

The reason I've gone through so many is that usually about a month after having my phone, it begins to restart on itself anytime I try to receive or send picture messages. Resetting it does nothing.

Now that I'm going on to my third heat in less than 6 months, I'd expect Helio to step up and take care of the issue. Well, they have not. They basically te...

i was wandering if you can listin to podcasts on your helio ocean cuz i tried out the zune marketplace (i use itunes for my ipod of course) and it transfered all the podcasts i had from itunes to the zune marketplace so i was thinking hey maybe you could do that with the ocean, so.... can you? 😕

Has anyone heard that helio has trademarked names for two new phones the helio glass and the helio mighty. I saw they have them listed on helio-direct.com and if there are any release days yet

well this deal only works if your a xbox live gold member. become a diamond member (sign up thru the xbox site, there is no cost to upgrade).

as soon as you receive your membership card (about 4 weeks later) click on the cell phone carriers deal and select Helio. On the page it brings you to, you get the Ocean for 120 and they wave the activation fee. You don't save any on the plan, but the phone and activation price is certainly worth it. The Drift was $50 on the site (I didn't look at the Heat, but Im sure the deal was great also). Hopes this helps.

I confirmed my order with Helio on Monday night, & my status still says "In Process", but it's Thursday. With the 2-day FedEx shipping, shouldn't I HAVE the phone today (Thursday)? Did anyone else get their phone with the order still said "In Process?" Is Helio just slow with shipping, even though they say 2-day?

I'm needy for my techology, & it would be nice if it would come today, seeing how it's my only day off, 😛.

Anybody know or hear of any new phpne releases by helio?

I've just started having an issue with my new Drift where it reboots whenever I try to surf or download new screens or ring tones, etc. Other operation of the device is normal, calling, texting, etc.

The only changes I made from when it was working fine to when it started rebooting was that I installed the PC Link Pro software and the Media Mover software.

Now, my conclusion is that one of these installations is the issue but I'm just wondering if there is a fix for it or do I need to uninstall/reinstall or just uninstall the above software?

I'm thinking about getting the new helio ocean cell phone, andI was just wondering about the accuracy of the coverage map on their website. Does anyone know how accurate it is? The service it's showing for my places of interest seems to be too good to be true, as they're both rural.

Anyone know of a good place to get free ringtones? I have made a few custom ones for specific people in my contacts. I will try to get them up and hosted if anyone is interested.

I could also host any others that ya'll have made if you like, just let me know.

my other concern is syncing my address book from my mac to the helio phone..

does helio provide this kind of syncing?

I just got my Helio Drift 2 days ago. I set my alarm on my phone for M-F as a backup to my alarm clock. Well, when I went to set the alarm on my Helio I found that there is a "Wake-up Call" as well as an "Alarm" option.

What is the difference between the 2? They seem to be the same feature just different on how you set them up. It's really not that big of a deal, I am just wondering what, if any, the differences are so I can use them appropriately if one has an advantage over the other.

I Live in Salem OR, VZW and Sprint have good coverage each, but much better yet if its adding both networks, any 1 around here already has Helio Service that can share his/her opinions?

And to all:

1.- Is it for a fact that they use VZW and Sprint Coverage?
2.- How does credit check works, specially for some with no credit history?
