It will download to my PC, but even then I can't get it from the desktop to the websites. Is there a way this can be done?
Also, how do I load video onto my phone...it doesn't seem to work. And you wouldn't belive how hard it was to get Mp3's onto it. Special codes entered into the phone.

There seems to be limited information on this subject, but have I read correctly that someone must Manually choose to update their location for Buddy Beacon to show where they are at?

If so this means that using this phone is virtually useless for parents to watch out for their children or as a backup to locate them in an emergency.

IF this is the case, Helio pales in comparison to a simple Disney phone where you can pick the exact child you want to locate down to a 10 yard radius.

I was very excited about Helio until I read several forums about the odd Buddy Beacon limitation.

Has anyone experienced any issue's logging into any sites, such as: ebay, paypal, myspace etc etc., from their Helio Ocean?...I keep getting a Login Error no matter what.

I'm seriously considering going to Helio for the Ocean or possibly the Drift...they both look absolutely awesome. I just have a couple Q's before i make the big jump...:

1) do any of the phones have threaded SMS? or is that only a palm/Rim smartphone thing?

2) Do any of the phones have EMS? (where you can send preloaded animations and texts with more than 160 characters)

3) Is there a 30-day trial period?

I just wanted to know if Helio customers really liked their service, or not. Especially in the Indianapolis Area.
I have Verizon, but I may want to switch to someone else that doesn't nickel and dime you for every feature like the big 4 do.
Their coverage map looks excellent for the area, and since I've had good luck with CDMA everywhere I go, I would think that their coverage would be good too.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any incite on upcoming phones for Helio. I'm thinking of switching to Helio from Sprint, and eventhough I like the current phones, I don't want to switch, then a few months later, have Helio come out with some bad ass phone, and I'm screwed. Any info will be GREATLY appreciated.

It's alright. I guess I'm not too impressed because I figured I wouldn't keep it that long. Just wanted to test drive it. The only thing I liked was the internet/myspace/etc stuff. The signal as for phone usage is nothing special. But if I can get some feedback on any others opinions on the company. Thanks.

Is Helio still going strong? Or are they going to go the way of Amp'd? Last I heard the initial $1/2 billion investment will be used up at the end of the year, earthlink pledged another $100 million but only gave something like $30 million, and they laid off 80% of their sales force...I dont know but it doesn't look good...anyone have any information?

that pantech is coming out with something for cingular thats extremely similar to the ocean, but a little thinner...has anybody heard this?

I just moved to the states from Canada.. Gonna be here for 2 years for school.. I need to get a cell phone so people here can reach me.. I went to verizon store today and they told me I would have to pay 400 dollar.. From what she explained to me I understand Why I would need to pay deposit, but 400 is alot.. Does anyone here know how much it would be through Helio and are there plans better than verizon?

I just signed up with helio, but not sure if I made the right choice.... I don't know why i'm iffy about it, but I am...
