Phone Advice
What is the best phone out there with Sprint currently? She talks a lot, needs speaker, 1 megapixel or greater camera, and it needs to be somewhat thin.
I was looking at the Samsung M520, Katana DLX, and the Samsung M510.
Am I missing any good ones?
I appreciate your help.

GSM Rules!! Can You Hack Me Now? Good!

Callers, your worst nightmare is coming true... maybe. According to a report, a group of hackers at the Black Hat conference in Washington D.C. claim that they're able to hack GSM calls with equipment costing about $1,000. If you believe the team (and we're inclined to at least have a listen), they can decrypt GSM phone conversations and text messages on a network using inexpensive tools called field programmable gate arrays. Until now, the cost of the technology required to hack GSM transmissions has been prohibitively expensive for all but your government and large-scale snooping operations, but that's beginn...

A few nights back, when it was quite windy out, I couldn't make a call to my wife. after 6 tries, I called her from the house phone, quite upset about our phones, and then called *2 on my sprint phone. that didn't work, since I was in digital roam. I looked up an 800 number, called that, and got someone who could understand english only if it fit into the script she was reading. She also referred to me as ma'am. I don't have a high voice, and I'm male. I told her what my problem was, and then she asked me what trouble I was having. I asked to speak with her sup numerous ...

Help with Voicemail
I need to know if it's possible to recover my voice mail before I call CS.
Yesterday I returned a phone to sprint store and the rep closed my account by mistake. When I try to make call on my old phone I couldn't. I went back to the store, she called TS and recover the account but all voice mails, emails on the account were wiped out. My number was unreachable for at least 90 minutes. I had voice mails I did not get before the disaster.
I just need to know from someone who works at Sprint if they can recover my voice mails and settings.
Thanks
MM

"contract end dates of 01/30/2010. These contracts were extended due to the promotional discount of 10% off every month that was accepted on 01/31/2008."
They were supposed to end in May of 2008.
HOWEVER, I NEVER called, wrote, spoke, or anything with someone from Sprint to extend my contract. Futhermore, my bill is $150/month so why would I sign up for 2 more years to get $15 off each month living in an area that they don't provide service to.
This is the s...

To All Who Have Said Sprint Ruined Nextel
But as far as network, services and pricing, not so!
As much as I love Nextel, when I first got service with them, it was VERIZON expensive! For the same money I'm paying now for 7 pm nights, unlimited nationwide DC and free LD & roaming, I only got 3200 N&W minutes, starting at (ugh!) 9 pm, and 250 LOCAL DC minutes. In order to upgrade to unlimited nationwide DC, it was $20 extra per line!
My data services and text messaging were soooo slow, too. âšī¸
And roaming? Forget about it! I would've even settled for analog backup in those days. Now, Sprint will be launching QChat phones that are full roaming capable. đ

I work in sales support so i know the "well it should but im not sure answer" thats not good enough, i want a definate answer from someone who has either used the service while roaming and succeeded, or tried to use it while roaming and it failed. thanks alot đ (ps. i know there are circumstances that could make the phone not work but i just want to know in general if it should work.)
i'll use it primarily in sprint coverage but would like to use it when i visit family where they on...
